  1. Swordpoint glanced at Golden Age. "Let us not be too eager for combat. It is a bloody thing, and it is far too easy to give up your soul." He believed this to be the truth, and he regretted the situation wholly. He stood with the entire might of Equestria behind him, and they marched to bring death. Even though they intended to save Cadance, there would be death first. @@Avolon, @, He looked up at the sky, as the morning light began to shine over the land. "We should halt our advance and camp. We have marched through the night." He called one of the messengers over and had him spread word that they would be setting up camp in the woods. It took the better part of an hour, but they managed to set up their tents and place warding spells to avoid being spotted. Swordpoint sat in his commander's tent reviewing a map of Equestria. "Hm. Thirty miles to go. We traveled ten in one night. We should be there within three days."
  2. OoC Thread The Doctor stared at the quiet town of Ponyville. It had been three years since he arrived here. Not that there was anything wrong with that, of course. He'd grown rather fond of it ever since. But all things must come to an end, and he wasn't one for settling down. It had taken some time, but he finally managed to fix the Tardis. Apparently, when he'd arrived, the natural magical energies of Equestria had shorted out the time matrix. But now that it was fixed, it was time for him to slip away again. That was simply the way of things. So why did he feel regret? Why was it that he didn't want to leave them behind? He'd helped save this world, once, but hadn't he done the same for thousands like it? "... I can't leave them all," he said simply. And it was the truth; he'd grown fond of them, and he didn't want to leave everyone behind. So that was it. "Well... I suppose some of them might like to join me. It'd be a chance to see what else is out there in the universe." A renewed smile danced across his lips, and he trotted through the streets to the town notice board. He hastily wrote a message and posted it. "Seeking brave adventurers for a trip to faraway places. Four spots to fill! Contact 'The Doctor' with any questions, located by the blue box just across the bridge." The Doctor nodded and turned around, making his way back to the Tardis. He was surprised to find a light brown pegasus awaiting him. "Doctor," Swordpoint said with a smile. "It has been some time since we last spoke. I trust you are well?" "Ah, Swordpoint!" the Doctor chimed. "It's good to see you! Everything's going great, really! But I'm glad I got the chance to see you! You see, I'm leaving, I'm afraid. I finally fixed the old girl up, and now she's ready to fly again!" Swordpoint glanced at the blue police box. "Yes... that is actually why I have come. This... machine. There is a presence inside unlike any other." The Doctor continued to smile. "Ah, yes, that would be the heart of the Tardis. It's just the living force of the Tardis itself." Swordpoint's smile faded to a confused expression, but the Doctor offered no further explanation. "Wait!" the Doctor said suddenly. "How would you like to join me? I know you've got Rainbow Dash and all that, but... I could bring you back. Just come and see what the rest of the universe is really like. And you can study the heart of the Tardis, while we're at it." Swordpoint stared for a moment. Well... I suppose that it could not hurt... He nodded. "Yes. I will join you. Allow me to make my arrangements." "Of course!" the Doctor chimed. "This is wonderful! And do tell your friends!" Swordpoint nodded and spread his wings, taking off into the sky, and the Doctor smiled again. "This will certainly be wonderful. Might be good for a few laughs, too. Swordpoint as a human. He'll be so hilarious to watch!" He opened the door to the blue box and stepped inside, waiting.
  3. Dude... I read an old fanfic I wrote on Zelda Universe, and it was so terrible that I begged one of the webmasters to delete it. Holy shit was it bad...
  4. @ Swordpoint prepared to speak again, but he stopped as he heard a thump. He turned to find Sole on the ground, twitching slightly. He immediately darted to Sole's side. "Sole! Can you hear me?! Sole!" Sole would not respond. He seemed to have a glazed look in his eyes. Swordpoint observed the stiffening of Sole's limbs, and he understood at once. "He appears to be poisoned... This does not bode well." He glanced around, desperate. "Can anyone cure poison?! Anyone?! Please, someone help him! He is dying!" Rainbow walked slowly over to Sole, and tears filled her eyes. "C'mon, Sole... you're stronger than this, and I know it! I've seen you fight off more than some stupid poison! So get up! Please! I don't want to see anypony else die today!!"
  5. @ Swordpoint nodded gravely. "The ship is damaged, but it is still seaworthy. We must move quickly, though, Crimson. Inside the ship, I encountered one of Umbra's followers. He came very close to decapitating me silently." Rainbow's eyes widened. "That's it; you're not going anywhere without me anymore. But, uh... how do you know it was one of Umbra's?" "He wore a black hood," Swordpoint explained. "And the look in his eyes... yes, they were certainly the eyes of a killer. It seems that Umbra is growing angry with our progress." Swordpoint approached Crimson. "I almost forgot... there was no sign of Hotfoot or Alter. I have tried to search for their energy, but I can find neither one. In addition... we are missing Coral and Equinox. Again, there is no sign of their energy around." Swordpoint couldn't hind his unease. "I do not wish to assume that they are deceased... But our options seem few." Rainbow stood and walked to Swordpoint's side. "We have to get going. I don't want to leave them behind, but... if you can't even find them with that weird... energy tracking thing you do, then it's probably time to give up the search." Swordpoint nodded, a saddened expression adorning his face. "Yes... I am afraid that you are right. We should move out immediately. And remain vigilant... it is highly likely that more of Umbra's followers will be lurking around."
  6. @ Rainbow looked away. "... I hope so. I think we've all seen enough death for one day." Swordpoint nodded and took off, heading for the center of the island. He recognized the Blaze of Glory from a distance, and he descended, landing on the deck. He glanced around, making mental notes of the state of the ship. Overall, it appeared to be largely intact, although there were still holes and broken parts from the sea monster attack. He went below deck to check on the rooms and found that damage there was practically nonexistent. There was a clanging sound, and Swordpoint instinctively ducked as a sword sliced by where his head had been. He rolled and faced his attacker to find a hooded pony wielding a sword. "One of Umbra's followers, no doubt. I have a message for your master. Tell him that we are coming." The hooded pony charged him, and Swordpoint effortlessly sidestepped his strike and plunged his dagger into the pony's neck. As he withdrew it, the pony gasped and fell to the floor. I should return to Crimson... There may be more of these followers, and this one nearly took my head. He made his way back above deck and took to the sky again, heading for Crimson and the others. (OoC: If you don't like the follower thing, I can edit it out. I just thought it would fit well.)
  7. @ Rainbow thought for a moment. "Well... no... But we didn't get him out of the volcano before that crazy pony exploded and caused it to erupt. There's no way he could've survived that!" A smirk touched Swordpoint's lips. "Then we should regroup and make our way to it. It will be our only means of escaping this island. I cannot cast the wing spell on this many of us, and it would not even last long enough for us to find the Red X... or to return to shore." Swordpoint spread his wings. "I wish to scout ahead. I want to see if the ship is intact, and if there are any more surprises awaiting us there."
  8. @ "Well... Have you discovered the location of the Blaze of Glory?" Swordpoint asked Crimson. "I did not see any indication of its presence, and I cannot find it with magic, for it has no magical aura." Rainbow frowned. "Oh, Crimson... Your friend, Venom Trace... he was killed by one of those... things. Those numbered ponies."
  9. (OoC: I may have missed the announcement and all that, but I'm going just going to put down Swordpoint's actions for when it happened.) As the referee announced his victory, Swordpoint smiled and collapsed. He was out cold, weakened from Stephan's final attack. He awoke some time later in the infirmary, fully healed. "My... what power... It is truly amazing that I even managed to stand after that blast. Stephan shall certainly become a fine warrior one day."
  10. Woo, today's the day we celebrate my manager's birthday. And we will be doing so with much alcohol. Em, not AT work, of course.

  11. Well, I've got an idea for a fanfic that I want to do as soon as I finish my current fanfic. The main character is Stellar Flare, a unicorn who's a part of the Equestrian Space Force. The story is set over 2000 years after the mane 6 lived, and I wouldn't mind some sort of interesting cover art for it featuring Stellar Flare, maybe standing against a background which shows a galaxy. There's a link to Stellar Flare's OC page in my sig. Thanks in advance if you choose to do it.
  12. @, @ Swordpoint saw Sole's wing, but stifled his reaction. "Come. Crimson and the others are nearby. There has been a... casualty." He led Sole to where Crimson stood over the makeshift grave. He listened as Crimson poured his heart out, and the memory of Rainbow's death at the hands of Frostbite flooded into his mind. He felt tears sting his cheeks, out of pure empathy for his brother's pain. Rainbow glanced at Swordpoint and saw this. She understood why he was crying immediately, and she couldn't stop herself from doing the same. She stepped forward and spoke aloud. "I didn't know her, but I know that nopony deserves to go out like this. Especially not when... when..." She began to sob, and fought for control. Swordpoint walked calmly to her side and held her hoof in his. "Especially not when there are those who care so deeply for them." He cleared his throat and continued, his voice wavering. "I wish you well, Twinkle. Death is not the end... and I know this to be true." He let go of Rainbow's hoof and, surprisingly, embraced Crimson. "I understand the pain, Crimson... I know how it feels to lose the one thing you love more than anything. You know that I died to save Rainbow, once... but I have never told you that I did so because she was murdered in front of my eyes. The pain I felt then... I cried for the first time in my life. I would never wish this upon anyone." Rainbow watched, now under control of herself. "We both know what it's like, Crimson. And we won't rest until he pays for what he's done. We're family, now, and we're with you no matter what happens." (OoC: Just want you to understand how strange it is for both of them to pour themselves out like this. It's obvious why for RD, but Swordpoint is usually fairly reserved, as Crimson has seen. In fact, this would be the second time he's ever cried. Just think about how much they empathize with Crimson to cause them to get like this.)
  13. @ Swordpoint stood shakily and made his way to Crimson. "... I am sorry, Crimson. I..." He glanced at Twinkle's wounds. "I cannot help her. It looks like Violet pierced her lungs." He helped Rainbow up, and she walked over to Crimson. "Crimson..." she said quietly. "It wasn't your fault, and I hope you know that." She put her hoof on his shoulder gently. "We're here with you, and we're going to help you save her. Whatever that sick freak did to her... we'll fix it." Swordpoint placed his hoof on Crimson's other shoulder. "She speaks the truth, brother. We will prevail together. And as for Twinkle... Umbra will certainly answer for her death. Whether his death be by my lance, or by your sword, it will certainly come swiftly." Swordpoint suddenly sensed Sole, but Sole's energy was distressed and chaotic. "Forgive me, but I believe that Sole is in peril." He gave Rainbow a nod, which she understood at once to mean "stay with him." He propelled himself along the ground with his wings, moving toward Sole's energy. @ Swordpoint came to a screeching halt as he spied Sole. "Oh, my... Sole! Are you alright?! What happened?!"
  14. I was a closet brony, and then I asked myself "Why?" and stopped caring. I watch MLP while my grandparents are in the room, and my desktop background is Rainbow Dash, my Chrome has a Rainbow Dash theme, and my cursor is Rainbow Dash. ... I really like Rainbow Dash.
  15. @ Swordpoint immediately teleported between Crimson and the attacking pony, blocking his advance with his lance. "If it is a fight you wish for, look no further." Rainbow leapt toward him, swinging the dagger wildly at the pony's backside. "You're goin' down, buddy!" Swordpoint forced the pony back with his lance and plunged it at his chest. "How dare you threaten my brother? You will discover that I am a very dangerous stallion to cross."
  16. @@Avolon,@@Pripyat Pony Swordpoint shook his head. "I am sorry. I do not know any such spell. However, I would like you to take command of the fourth regiment. They are known for their exceptional strength, and I have seen you display immense power, especially in the manner in which you wield your blade." Swordpoint turned to Sanura. "Sanura, I have a task which I would ask of you." He cleared his throat. "I wish for you to scout ahead. If you could give us any information in regards to the enemy's troops and their movement, it would be greatly beneficial. Would you perform this task for me? Nay, for Equestria?"
  17. @ Swordpoint smiled. "Do not despair, Stephan. Your power is great... you only need refine your talents. You expended too much of your energy too quickly. It is important to know your limits." He wavered slightly, but managed to remain standing. "I enjoyed this battle. Continue to hone your skills, and seek me out if you ever wish for advice... or a rematch." Swordpoint sighed and awaited the ref's call. (OoC: @ So... I won? Also, Steven, great match! I didn't see that laser beam thing coming at all! You put up a hell of a fight at the end, there, and Swordpoint's a real tough one to beat up like that )
  18. @, @@synangel Swordpoint and Rainbow gasped in unison. "We must fly! Now!" Swordpoint shouted. He grabbed Stone's left hoof, while Rainbow grabbed Stone's right. They took off from the volcano with blinding speed and noticed the purple smoke in the sky which spelled out a message. "Rainbow! Look! That is surely Cosmo! I can feel his energy radiating from it!" "Then let's get over there!" Rainbow called. They flew in the direction of the smoke, and Swordpoint sensed Crimson as he neared it. He pointed toward the ground, and Rainbow nodded. They descended and landed near where he had felt Crimson, and the two let Stone go. "Crimson!" Swordpoint called. Swordpoint could feel him, but he could not see him. "I know you are here! Please answer me!" (OoC: Synangel? Are you alive?)
  19. Swordpoint was blasted into the wall of the arena. He fell to the ground with a grunt. Gah... Incredible. I must get up... Must force myself... He was amazed. He had no idea that Stephan had such power inside him. He put his hooves beneath him forced himself up although he was shaking. ”Are you alright, Stephan?” His breathing was labored.
  20. @, @@synangel Swordpoint's eyes widened. Acting quickly, he darted toward Stone, wrapped a hoof around her, and then teleported to Rainbow and wrapped his other hoof around her. He then teleported another time, reappearing just outside the volcano. He quickly landed on the slope that led to the opening and released Stone and Rainbow. "Whoa," Rainbow said, her mouth agape. "That was kinda close." She turned to Stone and frowned. "Are you alright, Stone? You've just had this kinda shocked expression the whole time."
  21. @ (OoC: Yeah, that's fine.) Swordpoint grunted at the impact. His side was bleeding from a cut opened by impacting the wall. Damn... that hurt. But he is in far worse shape than I. He stood up, faced Stephan, and spread his wings. A minor stun spell should be enough... A golden aura surrounded him, and he fired a flash of white light at Stephan which struck him in the chest. (OoC: It's a stunning spell, not anything deadly. Designed to knock people out instead of kill them.)
  22. @ Swordpoint winced at the sudden increase in power that Stephan showed. But even then, he still smirked. He disappeared with a sudden crack, and he reappeared above Stephan. He dropped down and wrapped his legs around Stephan again, flipping backward several times before slamming him into the ground again.
  23. @ Swordpoint glanced up at the ball of black magic, and he hastily wrapped his wings around Rainbow and disappeared with a crack. He reappeared ten feet away and stood up. "You believe yourself to be invincible, do you not? Well I shall prove otherwise to you." He rocketed himself toward Vain, but he feinted a stab with his lance and teleported behind Vain to stab him from behind. Rainbow forced herself to her hooves. "Oww..." She shook it off and watched Swordpoint before dashing upward. "Swordpoint, I have an idea!" she shouted. She flew in circles rapidly, creating a tornado that would likely suck Vain up and send him crashing into the walls.
  24. @ Swordpoint stood again with a smile. "Yes, that's it! Use your abilities!" That strike actually hurt. It seems that he is capable of providing me with a challenge, after all. Although if that is the extent of his power, then I doubt this will continue for much longer. Swordpoint rocketed toward Stephan, zigzagging rapidly to avoid being struck again. As he neared Stephan, he spun in circles and slammed his back hoof into the red pony's head with great force.
  25. @, @@synangel Swordpoint deflected the whip with his lance. He hastily rushed Vain, spun his lance, and swiped at Vain's chest. "You fool. You believe that I am so weak as to fall by your hoof? You are nothing but a false creation." Rainbow shot into the air and circled around behind Vain, charging him and stabbing at his side with her dagger. "I'm fighting with you, this time!" She shouted to Swordpoint. "That training's already paying off!"
