  1. I chose RD because I believe she is even faster than Spitfire. Spitfire is never shown creating a sonic rainboom/sonic boom, while RD can easily do so, as proven in S2 E26, where she created one at the wedding. RD is faster than the Wonderbolts, and it's pretty easy to choose who is faster. If you're asking as a matter of personal preference, however, it could easily be a very different story because people have differing opinions. I simply chose RD because, based on the facts, she is superior. Plus, she is the undisputed best pony.
  2. @ Swordpoint quickly conjured his lance, which was light brown with Celestia's symbol as the guard. The blade appeared razor sharp and was pure white. "I fully intend to use restraint. You walk in the light, and are therefore not my enemy. I shall noy try to harm you." Swordpoint held up the lance, deflecting Sole's strike. He then spun the lance quickly and struck Sole in the side of the head with the back side of the lance. (OoC: Hehe. Alright, let's get this party started! I think one of us might just have to give up at some point, because Sole and Swordpoint seem to be evenly matched. We're landing strikes, but nothing serious enough to actually KO the opponent.)
  3. @ Swordpoint flipped again as Sole crashed into him. He moved with the force of the impact, reducing it greatly. "Interesting. We seem to be quite evenly matched in terms of our physical skill." He spun in a circle as he rose upward. "Perhaps you would like to involve weaponry? I can assure you that I have no intention of harming you. I am merely curious about your skill with weapons." He floated in place, awaiting a response. (OoC: Wanna start using weapons? Swordpoint won't try to seriously injure Sole; he's just curious as to how well Sole can handle weapons.)
  4. Ah do believe that Ah want tuh play some Xbox.

  5. @ (OoC: We're doing a lot of talking for very few actions... lol they must be talking super fast.) Swordpoint rolled with Sole's attack, doing a full flip and wrapping his back legs around Sole's neck. He flipped himself again and tossed Sole toward the crow's nest. "She is a demon. You... could never understand the horrors which I committed in her name."
  6. @ Swordpoint easily righted himself and threw his hoof at Sole's head. "I am glad that I am no longer in the service of that wench, Omnia. But it troubles me that she fell to the darkness. She is the sister of Princess Celestia, and from what the princess has told me, Omnia was once the most beautiful of the three. Now, her shape and colors are vile." (OoC: Okay, I know "Threw his hoof" sounds weird, but you get my meaning, right? He's trying to kick Sole in the head.)
  7. @ Swordpoint effortlessly dodged Sole's kick with a quick flap of his wings and brought his elbow down on Sole's back. "That is well. Chaos magic can be a valuable asset... or a dangerous enemy." (OoC: He's faster in the air... just so you know. He's not a super speed demon, but he's still pretty fast.)
  8. @ Swordpoint got up quickly, but he winced at the pain from the impact. "That is a cruel life. I pity you, Sole." He leapt into the air. "I can see that we are fairly even in terms of combat... but let us see how you handle aerial combat." Swordpoint flapped his wings idly, waiting for Sole.
  9. I'd go with the Vinyl one and the RD cutie mark, because I'm not scared of some pony haters. Just make sure you're covered in case someone with nothing better to do with their life than ruin someone else's decides to key your car. But really, I love Vinyl, and I passionately call her the Element of Wubs. And RD is best pony, so her cutie mark makes your car 20% cooler by default. Not really a fan of Rarity, so I'm not suggesting her cutie mark.
  10. @ When Sole grabbed Swordpoint's hoof, he acted quickly. He spun his other hoof in a roundhouse, connecting with Sole's head. He flapped his wings hard, pushing him up into the air. "I see. You say that he 'created' you... He manufactured you? Or were you born to a mother?" He flipped and came down toward Sole with both hooves extended.
  11. @@Pripyat Pony, @@Avolon, Dawn Wing smirked and teleported next to Rainbow Dash. He reached out to grab her, and she shoved her dagger into his leg. "Get the buck away from me!" she screamed. She withdrew the dagger and bucked him into the wall. Dawn Wing quickly regained his bearings to find Swordpoint lunging toward him. He teleported again, and once again tried to attack Rainbow, except he felt weak. Too weak to hold a weapon, even. His world turned black as he slipped to the floor, unconscious. Swordpoint smiled. "Well, I am glad that this little incident is over. To the rest of you who follow Dawn Wing! Drop your weapons now and you shall be spared. There will be no mercy for those who refuse to comply." The clattering of weapons against the ground could be heard all around. There were only seven guards who remained from Dawn Wing's followers. Swordpoint kneeled over Dawn Wing. "He is alive, but he needs medical attention." He turned to one of the guards. "Bring me hoofcuffs and a magic supressor. I want him alive, because I want to know what he was planning. He would certainly never have attacked me out of pure spite." The guard nodded and galloped from the room. (OoC: That's that. Dawn Wing is KO.)
  12. @ Sole's punch connected, but Swordpoint teleported away from the kick. "You are a friend of Crimson, and for that, you have my trust. You may speak freely without fear of persecution. I understand redemption all too well." He darted toward Sole and jumped into the air. He held out his back hooves and barrel rolled as he approached at high speed.
  13. It wouldn't make sense for that to suddenly happen now. Twilight seems to love her friends just the same, so having her suddenly hate them wouldn't really flow with the show. I'm more interested in seeing how Twilicorn plays out.
  14. @ Swordpoint reassessed Sole. But that would mean that he is over one thousand years old... How can it be possible? "How have you walked this earth for so long? That is certainly not the natural lifespan of a griffon..." He spread his wings and glowed bright gold briefly before conjuring ice beneath Sole, freezing his talons to the deck. (OoC: Well, a little note about Swordpoint is that he can cast bigger and stronger spells when he has time to gather up energy beforehand. To do that, he has to spread his wings first. He can cast spells in a snap, but doing that uses up his body's energy.)
  15. @ Holy crap, I can't believe I missed this. I do not have any other images of my OC, unfortunately. As such, I'll do my best to crop him from that pic. Expect this to look awful, but it will be done! Edit: After five seconds of attempting, I realize that this is impossible. If you're still willing to make the sig, can you just do it without Swordpoint? I'd also like to get the text changed to "True strength comes from within." Sorry I never responded. I forgot to follow the thread and I was waiting for a notification
  16. @ Swordpoint jumped to his hooves and spread his wings. He used them like propellers, rushing Sole with blazing speed. When Swordpoint neared Sole, he quickly flapped his wings forward, stopping himself instantly and sending out a powerful gust of wind. "From a twisted land called Ponynesia. I lived my life there for over forty years... and I was a soldier for all of them. From birth, I was trained to be a knight, and I eventually received a promotion to a royal guardian, and I was later given command of them. They are Omnia's elite forces in Ponynesia, and a single one of them could likely devastate an entire regiment of the Equestrian army."
  17. @ Swordpoint teleported himself before impacting the mast, reappearing behind Sole. He leapt into the air, flipped forward, and brought his legs down on Sole's back. "Interesting. I was not aware that griffons are capable of magic. I must ask... what do you use as your medium for the magical energy?" (OoC: Translation: What does Sole use to actually cast the magic? Swordpoint and Rainbow use their wings. And no, I didn't expect that. lol)
  18. It is required. But yeah, sounds like me when I first became a brony. I denied it at first, but eventually said "alright, screw it." Never went back. But welcome to our fine herd, sir. I really like the fact that you used perfect spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well. We need more people who do that.
  19. Oh, boy. Flash Sentry is probably the most two dimensional deus-ex-machina ever. He exists for the sole purpose of having awkward moments with Twilight and bailing her out when Sunset Shimmer sets her up. Throughout the movie, you see him interact with her a grand total of... hm... about six times? And most of them are gawking sessions followed by blushing. There was no character depth given to him at all. He was effectively the "hot guy at the school." That was his character. Ugh, and their romance... What was the point of it? We could have just as easily done without it. It wouldn't have changed anything. Point is, I'm glad this isn't canon just because of Flash. It's a shame, because Twilight seemed much more certain about herself being a princess at the end, but Flash effectively ruined the entire thing for me. And the worst part is that I like the way pony Flash looks.
  20. @ Swordpoint tumbled through the air, easily righting himself with his wings. He had already sized up Sole mentally. Swordpoint could tell that Sole was skilled, and that he was strong. However, he also seemed very overconfident. A small smirk came to Swordpoint's face, and he rushed toward Sole. He turned down at the last moment, landed on the deck, and fired a stunning spell up at Sole. (OoC: I literally spent like 15 minutes trying to think of something interesting for him to do.)
  21. Sunset Shimmer was Celestia's apprentice, once. It's likely that she just learned about them through Celestia's training. The biggest flaw for me was that Twilight didn't just ask for her crown back from Celestia. Instead, she decided to run for the Fall Formal and do something that would take a lot more time and effort than if she'd simply asked for it back. Logic = Broken
  22. Oh, thank god that I'm off today. I need a day away from hell.

  23. I am satisfied by the outcome of the Zimmerman case. I heard testimony from an expert on gunshot wounds which stated that the evidence showed that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman at the time of the shot. Granted, Zimmerman shouldn't have pursued Trayvon. But that's beside the point that Trayvon started beating the living shit out of Zimmerman, so Zimmerman shot him. Come at me, bro.
  24. @ Swordpoint grasped Sole's talon and flipped backward, throwing Sole at the deck. "Brute force, I see. You will find this battle to be quite difficult, I am afraid. My strength does not lie only in my physical prowess, but also in my mental aptitude." He looked down at his hoof to see that he had a small gash from Sole's talon. I suppose I probably shouldn't touch those again...
  25. @@Pripyat Pony, @@Avolon Dawn Wing was panting. Why am I feeling so tired all of a sudden? I was just fine a minute ago... While he'd managed to learn the art of magic, he had never bothered to study it fully. He did not understand that his own energy was fueling his spells. Swordpoint saw this, and smirked. "Well, Dawn Wing, why not prove to me that your magic is stronger?" He turned to the guards who were entering the room and staring in shock. "Keep Golden Age, Phylomon, and Sanura safe! Leave Dawn Wing to me!" Dawn Wing snarled and cast a flame spell, sending a jet of fire toward Swordpoint. Swordpoint effortlessly raised a barrier and deflected the spell. Aggravated, Dawn Wing conjured an ice spike and shot it forth. Swordpoint used his own magic to send flames at the ice, melting it in mid flight. Swordpoint was splashed lightly by the water. Rainbow jumped to her hooves as one of Dawn Wing's guards approached. The guard swung his axe, but Rainbow dodged it easily. She countered with a quick swipe of her dagger, opening the guard's throat. The guard clutched at his throat with his hooves as his life's blood ran out. Dawn Wing was livid with rage. His adrenaline was rushing, and all that he knew was that he wanted to see Swordpoint dead. No, all of them. Especially that stupid bitch of his. Oh, how I'd love to kill her in front of him. Cut her Celestia-damned throat... and then maybe have some fun with the body afterwards. (OoC: Dawn Wing's pretty fucked up, in case you couldn't tell.) Swordpoint could see that Dawn Wing was nearing his limits. Swordpoint could tell by the subtle shaking of Dawn Wing's muscles that it wouldn't take much more before Dawn Wing exhausted his energy and either passed out or died. Personally, he wanted to see Dawn Wing put on trial. He had reason to suspect that Dawn Wing was an orchestrator of far more devious plans. "Come, then. Fight me."
