  1. @ Rainbow sighed. "You really haven't changed. I'm sorry things didn't work out... I really am. I thought we could work, y'know? But You're just... too different." She blushed slightly. "Hey, I'm sorry... I know I probably shouldn't be bringing all this up. But it looks like you and Stone are getting back together anyway... right?"
  2. @ Rainbow punched Sole in the mouth. "Shut up, you moron. I'm sick and tired of you stallions trying to tell me that I can't do something because it's dangerous. I'm going to help you, and that's that." She shook her head vigorously. "Look, I know things didn't end well, but I don't wanna keep fighting and being awkward like this. I'd like it if we could just get along. That's part of why I came with you."
  3. @ (OoC: Well there's no point in saving him. The whole reason I'm going with this is because PS3Gamer dropped out of the RP. Hope ya don't mind, Ragestar!) Rainbow glanced at Sole as he left before looking back at Swordpoint. "I'm going with him! I'm not letting him put himself in danger!" Swordpoint shook his head. "Very well. Do as you please, but be careful." (OoC: Yup. Rainbow's coming with ya, Sole. Play nice ) Rainbow took off after Sole, easily catching up to him. "Hey! Wait up! I'm coming, too!"
  4. @[/b (OoC: Oh, so did I... Exceptly probably for different reasons. I was shit-faced. Also, I'm going to go with Raze walking off the ship during the sirens thing. We're just going to notice that he's gone and go all "oh shit" about it.) "Very well," Swordpoint said to Sole. "I look forward to sparring. I'm certain that you've never faced a pegasus who is capable of magic before." Rainbow looked around the ship. "Hey... has anyone seen that minotaur? Raze, I think his name was?" Swordpoint perked up. "Oh, no... Did anyone see him when those creatures took hold of my mind?" Rainbow jumped to her hooves. "He probably walked right off the ship! We need to go look for him!" Swordpoint shook his head. "By now, he is certainly dead. I am sorry... And I know that we should have been more vigilant. But we cannot turn back now. Doing so would likely lead us to disaster."
  5. @ "I do feel energized... I suppose I can afford some time to spar," Swordpoint said. "But be wary. I shall not hold back, although I can promise you hoof to hoof combat without weaponry. I do not aim to kill." Rainbow sighed and rolled her eyes. "Of course Sole would want to fight my coltfriend. Why did I not see this coming?"
  6. @ Swordpoint shook his head. "I hope you are skilled in combat. I have killed far more ponies than I can remember..." Rainbow shook her hooves. "I don't wanna hear this again! Just let it be!" Alter smirked as he laid down his cards. "Ha! Full house beats a flush!" "Dammit!" Hotfoot exclaimed. "Alright, you little bastard, I'll get you this time." Alter glanced at the door. "You know... maybe we should go check on them up there. I heard a crash a few minutes ago." Hotfoot waved his hoof. "Ha. You just want to cut and run. You know that I'm gonna win this hand." "As if!" Alter shouted. "Deal 'em out, douchebag!"
  7. Swordpoint solemnly stood by the wheel. "I will remain here. I must meditate on what I have allowed myself to do." The mist began to clear as the ship exited the waters which the sirens called home. Swordpoint glanced up at Sole. "I am glad that I did not harm him. Had I turned upon a less competent fighter... I would certainly have taken his or her life."
  8. (OoC: If Goldie wants to help save Swordpoint, now is the time.) Dawn Wing strolled quietly through the palace. Your number is up, Swordpoint... I'm not about to be upstaged. He opened the door to the room where Swordpoint and Rainbow were staying as slowly as possible. Swordpoint heard the door open but did not move. I do not know who that is... but such guile is surely a sign of trouble. I shall give them the pretense that I am asleep. Dawn Wing carefully walked over to the bed and took a dagger from behind his wing. Goodbye, you asshole. The ball is in my court, now. He lowered it to Swordpoint's throat. Swordpoint acted quickly, teleporting behind his intruder and kicking him in the flank. "Who are you and who has sent you, fiend?!" Dawn Wing was thrown to the ground, and Swordpoint recognized him at once. "Dawn Wing?! What treachery is this?!" Dawn Wing spat some blood out of his mouth and snarled. "You're pathetic, Swordpoint! This is my army, and I won't have you taking my glory!" He got to his hooves quickly and spread his wings. A green aura surrounded him, and he teleported behind Swordpoint, grabbed him, and threw him to the ground. "That's right, you incompetent fool! I've been practicing ever since I learned that pegasi can master magic!" He poised himself, ready to bury his dagger in Swordpoint's throat. Rainbow jumped out of the bed. "What's going on?! Who is that?!"
  9. My headcanon is that while Celestia cannot die of natural causes, she can be killed. Obviously, this will never happen in the show, however. That's just how I take it.
  10. Dawn Wing shook his head. "No matter. I suppose I'll be able to take him out. Be ready to march tonight at midnight." Dawn Wing smiled vindictively as he left the barracks. Swordpoint found the room where Rainbow was staying and entered. "Rainbow... have you spoken with the princess?" Rainbow looked up. "Yeah... She says she's going to order the army to march soon. And... she wants you leading it." Swordpoint sighed. "I thought we were waiting to see if they would attack once more?" "She said she didn't want to take the chance of having more ponies killed," Rainbow told him. "I think you should let Dawn Wing lead the army and stay back..." "Put it out of your mind," Swordpoint said firmly. "I will serve Equestria whenever I am needed. Now please... try to sleep." Rainbow sighed and lied down on the bed, and Swordpoint joined her. Rainbow fell asleep quickly, but Swordpoint lied awake.
  11. Crap... I should've expected that. "Are you sure? Swordpoint is strong... if he defeats me, then he will have you tried for disobeying orders. What's more, Celestia will continue her rule. I need your help, as there is safety in numbers." Swordpoint landed softly outside the Canterlot Palace. "I cannot even sleep in my own bed tonight... I only hope that the princess has a plan for our defense. We do not even know if they mean to attack us again... It could be that Applejack was wrong, as well. I only pray that we will avoid war."
  12. "We'll move tonight, and take out Swordpoint in his sleep. Unfortunately, that's the only way that the army will follow my orders. Those damn fools respect him so much... I don't know why. So he saved Equestria once. Big deal. We'll not only save it, but lead it into a glorious new age." He glanced around. "I know a group of ponies who support Princess Luna. They want to see Celestia overthrown and executed for her crimes in the civil war. I trust that I can count on the support of yourself and your troops?"
  13. "I have plans for them, as well," Dawn Wing said as he shook Goldie's hoof. "We'll take the fight to them instead of waiting around like Celestia would have us. Unlike Swordpoint, I can think for myself instead of blindly following Celestia. And if it makes you feel any better, you should know that Swordpoint is a murderer. Just ask him about his past. When you hear it, you'll probably want to kill him then and there." Haha... imbecile. When we march upon the Empire, your soldiers will be on the front lines, while mine follow behind. An effective meat shield.
  14. @@Pripyat Pony Swordpoint nodded. "I understand. I shall leave you to it, then. Thank you for your time, Zecora." He stood and walked to the door, stopping once he got there. "If you ever find yourself in need, do not hesitate to seek me out. It is my duty to defend those who cannot defend themselves." He opened the door and stepped outside.
  15. Dawn Wing smiled vindictively. "Simple. That weakling is unfit to command, and yet Celestia places the full force of the military in his hooves. Do you really believe that he is capable of leading? He hasn't commanded anything for over two years. I'm concerned that he's leading these soldiers to their deaths. You wouldn't want that, would you? Your men, who fought and died with you through thick and thin, being sent to their graves because of his incompetence." Yes... that will certainly rouse him. If I can have the assistance of Goldie and his men, taking out Swordpoint will be easy. He can't fight off that many of us, no matter how strong he is. (OoC: In case you haven't figured it out, Dawn Wing is a power hungry asshole.)
  16. @@Pripyat Pony "Is there anything you could do to assist us?" Swordpoint asked Zecora. "Our options are few, and I do not wish to send the element bearers to do battle." He tried to hold a straight face, but his worry showed. Dawn Wing entered the barracks with a smirk upon his face. He found Golden Age quickly. "Soldier," he said slyly, "I remember you. You were a part of Luna's army during the civil war. Surely you can understand the disgrace that Swordpoint is upon this army. As such, I bring forth a proposition. Help me kill him, and you'll be my second in command. I promise to reward you handsomely."
  17. @@TheBreech Swordpoint stared out into the mists. "I am ashamed to admit that they took full control of my mind. I believed that my training was enough, yet they managed to sway me from my path. I know that I have redeemed myself, and yet they made me believe that my sins had not yet been forgiven." He absentmindedly turned the ship's wheel. "Cosmo... should I ever fall under the control of another again, do not hesitate to kill me. I am certain that you are capable of such a feat... and I know the threat that I pose to you in such a situation. I nearly took your life... and the reality of this pains me." Rainbow shook her head. "I don't wanna hear this! Cosmo, you wouldn't do that, would you?!"
  18. I'd like my newest OC, Stellar Flare. Basically, everything you'd need to know is here, although I'm looking for him imposed against a background showing space, while he is holding a futuristic looking rifle. Also, I'd like the mane to be slightly shorter than in the picture. Thanks in advance! :3
  19. @,@@TheBreech Swordpoint shook his head. He could not look Cosmo in the eyes. "I am sorry... such weakness is unlike me. Those voices... they invaded my mind, telling me that I was a sinner in need of redemption." Rainbow tackled Swordpoint to the ground, hugging him tightly. "No one cares, you idiot! We're just happy you're alive and back to normal!" Swordpoint managed a smile as he got to his hooves again. "We should depart from this place. Those creatures are likely to attempt to sway another of us." He flew to the wheel and grasped it firmly. "Go to full sail. We should leave here as quickly as the winds will allow."
  20. I definitely remember seeing her. Can't remember when or where, but she was in there somewhere. It was probably during one of the musical numbers.
  21. @@Pripyat Pony Swordpoint sat as instructed. "This is a matter of grave importance, Zecora. Equestria has been attacked, and Applejack claims that it was by the Crystal Empire's soldiers. Celestia has ordered that the military be mobilized, but as of yet, we are only taking precautionary measures." He shifted uncomfortably. "I do not wish to see full scale war, Zecora. I have seen it many times, and I prefer not to relive the atrocities that wars bring. That is what brings us here today." He cleared his throat, glancing at the cauldron in the center of the room. "Shining Armor wrote to Princess Celestia approximately two weeks ago, claiming that Princess Cadence had become increasingly distant and troubled. According to him, she would rarely eat, and she would keep her distance from others, often speaking to herself. We can only assume that she has fallen into madness." He turned to face Zecora. "Please... is there anything that you could possibly do to help her? I do not wish to see her die. She was always so kind to me..."
  22. @@Pripyat Pony (OoC: That was another reason I didn't want to control Zecora. That rhyming crap is too hard to do.) Swordpoint examined the new zebra. Fascinating... I sense such different magical energy within her. "It is a pleasure to meet you at last, Zecora. Rainbow Dash and the other element bearers often speak fondly of you. I only regret that I must bring troubling information to you. May we come inside?"
  23. @@TheBreech As Swordpoint began to fall, he used his magic to counteract Cosmo's. However, Cosmo's spell was much stronger, so he could only slow his descent, causing him to impact the deck much lighter than Cosmo had intended. He quickly stood and teleported behind Cosmo, raising the dagger to his throat. As he prepared to cut, however, his hoof grew limp, and he dropped the dagger. His eyes closed and he collapsed to the deck, his breathing labored. "Oh, no!" Rainbow screamed. She sped to where he lie and put her hoof on him. "All that magic wore him out! He needs a doctor! Aw, man, all those times that he warned me about not overusing magic, and then he goes and does it!" (OoC: I figured that with him casting this many spells, there's no way he can handle it. Especially since most of them were used without charging up energy, meaning that he used his own body's energy. He'll die without medical attention, though, so a doctor should probably get to work.)
  24. @@Avolon (OoC: As soon as we finish this little sidebar, we'll return and progress to the next day.) @@Pripyat Pony Swordpoint nodded and dove toward the home. He could feel strange magical energy, unlike anything that he'd ever encountered. "This magic... it is strange. It does not feel the same as the natural magical energies of the world. It is... different." He touched down gently in front of the door and faced Sanura. "I suppose I shall allow you to introduce us. I suspect that she may have heard of me from the element bearers, although I am still a stranger." (OoC: I'm gonna let you control Zecora seeing as how I've been playing the part of the main Equestrians.)
  25. @@TheBreech (OoC: Oh... whoops. Ah, well. In any case, I'm not going to make Swordpoint kill Cosmo. My plan was to attempt to knock Cosmo down and have Swordpoint prepare to kill him but then have Rainbow bring him back to his senses or something.) As Swordpoint breached the clouds, he turned and landed gently on them. He stopped suddenly. "Wait... what is..." Kill Cosmo... You must kill him... "Those voices... they are weak... What am I doing?! I must fight them!" Do not struggle. Only know that we will release you if you do as we ask. "Do as you ask? Kill Cosmo? But... I cannot... He is innocent!" He's a killer, Swordpoint. A murderer. That certainly must not sit well with you. "No! Leave me be! I cannot!" You will kill him and bring your crew to us for your redemption! They must all pay for their crimes! Swordpoint's eyes glazed over again. "Yes. I will bring them to justice for their crimes. But they cannot penetrate that shield. I must kill Cosmo and bring justice upon him." Swordpoint charged his magic again and teleported beneath the deck of the ship, using a tracing spell to find Cosmo. He moved directly beneath Cosmo and shot upwards through the deck, smashing the wood on which Cosmo stood in an attempt to crash into him and wind him. Rainbow jumped as he crashed through the deck. "OH, BUCK!"
