For starters. Though Portal is done through first person it is a puzzle platformer Secondly. COD is THE MOST OVERRATED GAME EVER! period. Thridly. No, FPS's just don't have that feeling like its an experience. Most shooters to me feel like interactive movies. The multiplayer is fun but I never judge a game on It's multiplayer as that would be like judging a book on it's ability to bludgen someone to death. Amazing scenery is good but that doesn't make a game amazing. Plus the nuke was nice but they over did it in the next two because it felt like it was expected. there was no shock value in the Airport.

I'm not saying it's bad. I'm saying it's popularity comes through it's fanbase being adament that it's brilliant when It's not. Granted it's good and I personally enjoyed Reach but I enjoyed it as much as I do any fps. Halo is a shooter. thats the fact of the matter and shooters will never be "Amazing" or "Breathetaking".Only so much can be done with a gun and a one man army before it gets stale.

Now now lets not start a flame war. Halo isn't amazing by no stetch of the word. But its better than most FPS's out on todays market. The only reason It was made popular was due to Its easy difficulty curve, Halo is a casual Doom or quake game basically. But Yet Its still popular basically because of one simple principle. "A lie told often enough becomes the truth." If enough people stand firmly by Halo screaming its magnificence it will always be magnifient in the eyes of the public. despite contrary evidenve.

Probably will buy it. Looks decent enough but i havn't played much of the first two.

He than uses his magic to create a anti venom [His talent being poison's and the treatment of them] "Alright this should do it" Absolon rubs the mixture into the wound "this might sting but you should be fine" (OOC: I'm going to work for the next 5 hours so pretend that My guy is just tagging along ok.)
