  1. People tried to build her like that at first, and were actually disappointed in her I believe. Then they built her glasscannon, went "Whoa, she deals a ton of damage and beats the crap out of most people" and never looked back. Her shield also scales off of AD, so it gives her some survivability while still wrecking face. Jax is similar now, with him building straight glass cannon while his ult gives him a lot of resistances so that he can survive while blowing things up, along with Poppy debatedly(depending on how you build her, since glass cannon-ish is viable on her). Also, since when the hell did atmogs give you more AD than IE or BT? Pre-nerf, atmogs only gave you equal damage to IE when you had 4000 HP, and equal to BT(fully stacked) at 5000 HP. Post-nerf, it equals IE at about 5350 HP, and a fully stacked BT at 6700 HP. Yeah, that is pretty much never going to give you more damage than the two items designed to give you damage unless you have such an ungodly amount of health that it's not even funny, and even then you won't have resistances so you will probably have less effective health than somebody else(although I haven't done those calcs yet). EDIT: Oh yeah, Zeke's I believe is also rather inefficient outside of a very heavy AD team that auto attacks a lot. Wriggles also doesn't scale too well into late game, although it is rather gold-efficient from what I remember if you take its passive and free ward into account, so I suppose it's still a good option. I personally paste it into paint, save the file, then upload it to photobucket and post the img code on here. Works like a charm.
  2. See kids, this is why you DON'T FEED KARTHUS Seriously, this game was just easymode basically. Even though their team comp sucked, they were all tanky as hell(except for Pantheon) and yet they still fell in droves at both my feet and Vayne's feet(Xin mainly secured kills, instead of getting them on his own from what I saw). I think people don't seem to realize that Karthus has more than just his ult - in fact, his ult probably does the least amount of damage now that I think about it. His q deals a monstrous amount of damage late-game if it can hit a single target and his e basically makes it very, very stupid to be close to him due to the damage just piling up quickly. Really, a Karthus that thinks that his only job is to press R and then let his teammates do the work(I met one like that before...) is just flat-out bad, since that's just so much damage potential wasted.
  3. ...Nobody? Oh, it's time to get a good 'ole STACHE BATTLE ON. EN GARDE!
  4. No, Arylett is MINE. ALL MINE! ;;Activates stache defense around her to ward off EVERYBODY except for me;;
  5. Too bad for you that I have already eliminated your hare from the competition. Thus, Arylett is MINE. ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL MINE. ;;Kicks back into the stratosphere again;;
  6. OH NO YOU DON'T. BACK AWAY FROM MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU. ;;Stache kicks in the face and knocks into the stratosphere;;
  7. And this is why if you ever see an AP Kog, you do NOT underestimate them. Dat range is ridiculous, and I almost managed to kill their fed Darius from full like that, but then I ran out of mana .
  8. Do you know where my TNT has gone? It was removed from my Stache without my knowledge, and it's not telling me who took it. So I'm asking you: where is it? Also, my canoeboat has disappeared as well. I'm not sure if it has run off on its own again or if my Stache has hidden it somewhere, so if you could tell me which one it is I would appreciate it. Mr. String is also curious too, as he in all of his stringy glory was interested in going for a canoeboat race.
  9. To put it bluntly, if you don't play the game there's no way that you'll be convinced by us that it's good, because I can already tell you've made up your mind on what little you've probably seen. Yes, this game can be boring from a spectator's POV, but trust me when I say that from a player's POV this game can be very, very fun. The only way for you to find out just how fun, though, is for you to play the game yourself.
  10. Wouldn't Kog'Maw also be acceptable for PD rush? His w /does/ give percentage damage based on enemy max health, and thus might be a good idea to rush in certain match ups.
  11. From what I heard, Darius is ridiculously OP. Apparently a true damage ult that scales off of 1.2 bonus AD and refreshes on killing an opponent is OP. Who would have guessed?
  12. As everybody around him moped off the rest of the heartless, Jarvan seemed to start to...drift off. He was alert enough to his surroundings that a heartless or person couldn't sneak up on him, but otherwise he became almost completely oblivious. It was a bad habit that he had developed, created due to not wanting to listen to his dad when he was trying to lecture him on some very minor thing he messed up. Now it happened any time he thought that he wasn't really needed for a little bit. He knew he should probably break it at some point, but then he went Eh. It's not that important really, I do just fine with it. Thus, he noticed absolutely nothing that happened near him for a couple minutes; not the minor insults that were being thrown about, nor Tonitrus burning his finger on Arylett's new Aero shield, or even Dexter blasting the cigarette out of Gallid's hand. Indeed, the thing that brought him out of his period of blankness was Ridere saying something to him directly. “Something confuses me Jarven, the amount of heartless and strength of them was not very much. Not coming anywhere close to warranting all of the apprentices to come. This could have easily been handled by 2 or 3 of us. Yet here we all are, is the master planning something?” At first, Jarvan only went "Huh...?" before he shook his head and said "Sorry, I was zoned out for a moment there," putting on an embarrassed-looking smile at the same time. "Anyways, I am not sure why Master sent so many of us for so few Heartless. Perhaps he thought there were more around...?" Then he heard Arylett mention the "Big Assignment", and smacked himself on the forehead. "Of course, that. Now that I think about it, this probably was more of just having us practice working together instead of an actual threat." It was at that point that Brutus arrived and, along with Tonitrus' reply to what Brutus said, caught Jarvan's attention. "Yes, yes you missed all of the excitement here. All of the heartless are gone, and apparently Dexter tried to blow up Gallid, although not anymore. Either way, we should head back now before a ton of heartless become attracted to all of the Keyblades here."
  13. Well, I /had/ a LP. ...But then I became dis-motivated due to lack of viewers =(.

  15. Yo, I'm interested in this, so you can add me to the roster.
  16. AMEN BROTHER! As a Veigar player myself(although I haven't played him much as of late due to my opponents picking his counters before I can pick >>), I saw this as a huge nerf. Not just for the loss of mana regen, but also the fact that the active itself was nerfed! I did the math, and it would take about 900 AP in order for the new active to equal the old active in damage, and even then the old one is still better by 0.5%! Granted, lategame a fed Veigar will probably have that much AP, but until then this is just a big nerf to Veigar's power. It's large enough that I've actually considered skipping DFG in the beginning and just rushing my deathcap and grabbing DFG afterwards. I haven't tried that out yet, but at this point it might be the more viable path =/. And the new item they're making probably won't help out Veigar, since it looks more in-line for helping out Anivia and Swain with their extreme mana-hungriness. Alas this is true, but fear not! If you can get a group of friends to play with you often/get taught how to play well before jumping in by yourself(or both, preferably), then you'll do just fine. Plus if somebody really annoys you, you can just ignore them and report them after the game to be dealt with by the Tribunal(the thingy that punishes people who are toxic to the community). Speaking of playing with a group of friends, why don't we all make a ranked team together? It would probably be much more fun to play with people that we know who wouldn't be douchebags, along with easier communications with teammates(if everybody has a mic and Skype) while having fun at the same time. I would certainly be up for it, although don't expect me to play AD carry or support if we do this - I have bad luck as AD carry(DAMN YOU GRAVES/ALISTAR!!!!!!!!!!), and I don't find support particularly fun to play.
  17. I will not question his sustain-that I know is absolutely godlike compared to many junglers. However, his clear time is rather poor compared to many junglers, with it being over 4 minutes if I remember correctly, due to not having any damaging abilities besides his q(or at least no noticeable damage) and lack of AOE. His ganks are also really weak, at which point he does less ganking and more just making sure an ally being attacked/ganked themselves does not die, which does make him a rather good counterganker I guess, but still far from the best ganker. And fun is subjective; I personally find Shen rather boring, and I only play him if my team really needs a tank and we have enough damage that Shen's lack of a lot of damage doesn't matter much. The characters I have fun with, on the other hand, are the ones that I main, and some other ones that I don't play much(such as Leona for kill lanes).
  18. Jungle Shen?@@ Shen is, to be blunt, a bad choice for Jungler. Shyvana, Lee Sin, Skarner, Dr. Mundo, Master Yi, and Nautilus are all much better at jungling then him. Anyways, my mains are: Top: Pantheon, Gangplank Mid: Ahri, Veigar Support: Soraka Jungler: Nocturne, Shyvana, Skarner AD Carry: Ashe, Ezreal, Vayne
  19. As the monsters reached him, Jarvan noticed Arylett, Gallid, and Tonitrus all begin to take out the heartless swiftly, with Ridere joining in after a second. He gave himself a small grin. Maybe this will be easier than I thought. While they took on their targets, he rushed up to the Neoshadow and swung his Keyblade as fast as he could to its head. Unfortunately, the Neoshadow seemed to have anticipated that, for it immediately dipped into a pool of inky black darkness right at its feet, disappearing from view. Blinking in minor surprise, Jarvan looked around for where it went. He didn't see it anywhere, and was about to think it ran away, when he heard a slight whish noise behind him, and suddenly remembered what happens when a Neoshadow dives into the ground. Oh crap was all that he could think of in time before he had to dive onto the ground, barely avoiding the Neoshadow whizzed right above him, which was spinning upside down, claws stretched outward. Momentarily amused by the site from below, Jarvan got back on his feet as soon as it passed over and charged after it, slashing at it's chest. This time, the Neoshadow had no time to react, and as a result was cleaved right in half, before dissipating into nothing. Feeling triumphant at his success, Jarvan turned back around to the group and saw that a couple more Soldiers had shown up. Seeing that Ridere and Tonitrus seemed to have them covered, he continued to look around for any more targets to take out and spotted a couple Shadows. One of them tried to come up and scratch him, but he simply jumped back a couple inches and, pointing his keyblade, said "Blizzard!" An ice crystal shot out of Dawn's Remorse and struck the Shadow straight on, instantly destroying it from the sudden cold and impact. Grinning even wider to himself, he shouted to the rest of the group "There's only a couple left, so lets finish this up and go home!"
  20. OOC Thread ________ Heartless - They seem to be everywhere nowadays, thought Jarvan as he observed the inky black creatures in front of him. Their glowing yellow eyes glared at their victims - a couple of 20-somethings cowering in fear. In truth, it seemed like a rather small group of them - about 6 Shadows, 2 Soldiers (bearing their characteristic armor, of course), and a Neoshadow. He knew, however, that more could appear seemingly out of nowhere, especially with so many keyblade wielders nearby, and possibly overwhelm them if they weren't careful. Even if the group didn't grow any bigger, it would take at least a little bit of effort to take down the group without harm - Neoshadows, as Jarvan and several others had learned, were oftentimes much more dangerous than their allies. Turning halfway around to the rest of his group, which contained all of the other apprentices, he said "Okay, the group isn't too big luckily, but large enough and dangerous enough to possibly cause problems, so no blindly charging into battle. Alright? We don't want Master to be disappointed in us." This was a group mission their Master - named Jiro, who was also Jarvan's father - had given them to do on their own, the first in a while. If they succeeded handily, they would get even more. If they failed, or barely succeeded, then it wasn't likely at all that they would get another mission on their own. Jarvan was the leader of the group this time, assigned by his father, who also said he had "high expectations" for the result of this mission. Bah. Doesn't he always have high expectations? Like I would actually meet them. Silently grumbling to himself, he turned back to the Heartless - who seemed to have taken notice of the group of Keyblade Wielders and was advancing on them rapidly - and said "No more time for talk, it's time to fight!" before summoning his keyblade and getting into a battle - ready stance, ready to fight and fight hard.
  21. I just voted for 19 movies. It should be 21, but I accidentally unchecked Toy Story 1 & Toy Story 2 and didn't realize it until it was too late ><.
  22. Can't reply to the comments specifically right now really because I don't have much time, but I will just say that yes, I will post EVERY video for this LP on this thread, even if it goes into the hundreds(which at this pace I wouldn't be surprised if it did ) and that I got REALLY lucky with the rival battle and that things are gonna get harder. MUCH harder. Anyways, episode 4 time! Sorry for the delay. Youtube was being really annoying and not uploading the video at all for several days ><.
  23. I'd debate(no, prove) that Demon's Souls isn't tough because of the few checkpoints. It's difficulty comes from the fact that the game is, by its very nature, TOUGH AS HELL. Really, after a while you don't tend to notice the lack of checkpoints because 1)You unlock shortcuts as you go through the level, thus making things not so bad, 2)The levels are often not that big anyways, and 3)lets face it: after you die a few times, you know what to do to make sure that you don't die again in that section, sans for some bosses and those few enemies that use really cheap hax. Although, I will admit that the lack of checkpoints makes World 5-2 absolutely hellish. SCREW YOU GIANT DEPRAVED ONES AND BEING UNAFFECTED BY THE SLOW!
  24. I just have a few pet peeves really. Games with numerous game-breaking bugs Unbalanced multiplayer Games that are too easy Escort Missions Good stories held back by crappy gameplay And that's it really.
