I have no idea what you think about An Garda Siochana, but the American Police Force is just so fucked up! Have you heard ANYTHING about their extremely gun-ho attitude? Oh, and Americans hate foreigners
Hence why I intend to find a small town with as little crime as is possibly possible. Last I checked, the Americans weren't so hostile towards the Irish.
And yes, I know of the police's gun-ho attitude. Heck, it's the reason those protests broke out in Ferguson, and more recently in Baltimore.
