  1. @Keyfur Thank you very much. My heart is still pretty shattered but I figure at least now I know what it feels like to be loved by someone I love so much. I guess love can die, or it gets put away in a box and life goes on.
  2. I'm so glad you found your goddess and appreciate her as such. I had that. He called me goddess and treated me as one. We met through an online website. Our first date was right after work for him, he was still in his work clothes. He drove around for 40 minutes trying to find the restaurant. My heart skipped as soon as I saw him. He was a total nerd and even had a room of action figures. He asked if I wanted to play with his Voltron. I laughed so loud the only other people in the restaurant turned to look. We spent an hour after dinner in my car, listening to music and talking...and kissing. I never knew someone like him existed, he was all I wanted and more. He left the state last year to start a new business. I loved him so much I supported him. We made it work 9 months. But just a few weeks ago he decided he had to choose between me and the business. I lost. I love him with my whole being. I was waiting to be with him, waiting to fulfill all the promises we made to each other. Right now I don't think I'll find another super hero. But for a few years I had one who was the love of my life!

      It's not a recommendation, simply a statement.

  6. Hysterical me is faceplant!

  7. You never need a reason to like a pony!!! Well, I didn't say I didn't like her. She certainly knows how to party! I respect any pony that knows how to hold their punch!
  8. Vinyl Scratch (Filly), what is it about Berry Punch that draws you to her? Scootalove, while I wouldn't call her my favorite she had one of the best moments ever in Mare Do Well!!! Sandman the Terrible, never really noticed her before. I actually saw Charlie Daniels live once. While I'm not into country anymore that lives as one heck of a great show!!! ReGen, I totally get it. Music is magic and those two represent a pretty broad sepctrum.
  9. I love Sea Swirl! Not only does she have one of my favorite animals, dolphins, as her cutie mark, they are patterned in a yin yang to remind us of balance and harmony. Since she is a unicorn I'm sure her magic relates to the sea in some way, but I am not quite sure how since she lives in Ponyville. I always look for her in every episode and LOVED her costume for Nightmare Night. So I wanted to know what background ponies everyone else likes. There are the obvious ones like Derpy, Dr Hooves, and Lyra but I wanted to see who else someone has spotted and enjoyed.
  10. I tend to find Pagan themes in the world around me anyway and just assumed I was drawing a line between Luna and the Lady on my own. She is my favorite princess for a reason. And a big inspiration for my OC, obviously! I just really hope they showcase her more in season 4 and maybe explore the theme. The whole idea of Celestia raising the sun and Luna raising the moon goes back ages to the concpt of duality and balance in nature, he cycle of life, and turning of the wheel. Btw, I am not Wiccan but I am an eclectic Pagan that leans more toward a Celtic path. If you ever want to chat, let me know.

  12. Well I haven't talked about you here at all but all bets are off now. lol BTW, we ALL know who best Princess is! Come to the Dark Side....we have candy!!! Love the avatar and your representation of your multiple personalties....I mean various interests.
  13. I have a pretty extensive collection on Super Hero Squad figures. I'm only missing the wave unreleased in the US and a few from the really early waves. I also have my own comics but nothing compared to the collections I've seen. I often joke that I collect friends. I seem to know someone in just about every field, from all walks of life.
  14. "We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." Often listed as a quote from Dr. Seuss but that is debated. "And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once." Nietzsche “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Gandhi
  15. My boyfriend's business started making MLP themed products after my son came out as a Brony. It actually broke my son's heart the first time we vended and only little girls were excited to see Pinkie Pie. But if I can still love Rainbow Brite and the Smurfs as a beautiful childhood memory that stands the test of time, who is to say their love for MLP will not carry on as well? At the very next fest we vended I ran across a few Bronies who were surprised and excited to see the Mane 6 represented. But here's a thought. What would you all call a young boy (age 2-9) who loves MLP:FiM? Would you consider him a Brony as well? He certainly isn't the target audience. Maybe we're all Bronies regardless of age and gender!
  16. I LOVE this. I need to print out several copies though as I would most likely go through them all within days! Cute idea! You definitely made me smile today, so thank you!
  17. We're only 4 hours from Baltimore and really, this was a perfect location. There was plenty of hotel and food options around the convention center, as well as plenty to do for any family that might travel with their Bronies. I loved Who's Line Is It Anypony! That needs to happen again. As does Bronypalooza! We had to leave early Friday and missed a lot of the acts, but 2am came way too fast Saturday night! We didn't want to leave. Next year they really need to do something about the line to get badges!!!! And while we had a good time at the gala we did not find out until Friday night that it had been moved to Saturday. Then we learned Saturday that there was a sign-up, while we were in line to get in! The photography set-up was a really nice touch but what about having one of those step-repeat backdrops for next year. It could have a pic of the mane six or the MLP:FiM logo, maybe even a pic of Ponyville. Cos-players and others would line up to take pics with their friends in front of something like that.
  18. I brought my son to his first BronyCon and I can't tell which of us had a better time. We met some great people, enjoyed some interesting panels, and went home sore, exhausted, and deleriously happy. Side note, we need a closer hotel next time!!!! I knew the show was great, I knew about the fan art and music, but I had no idea the Brony community was so amazing and welcoming. Best moment, other than watching my son enjoy time with his "people", every moment spent dancing, laughing, discussing, learning, watching, bouncing, chanting, smiling, and picture taking. Downside....that line to check-in!!! Thank you for all the BroHooves and hugs! We will see you all next year.
  19. Hello. I am new as well. I don't know much about the site but if you ever want to chat, let me know.
  20. HA! So punny! Thank you. I'm not really sure what I want to do here. I've only recently discovered MLP through my Brony son. I really enjoyed the show but the fandom truly impressed me. What a great group of people!!!
  21. Thank you so much!!! I'm not really sure what to say here but I at least wanted to say hello. It's always nice to talk with new people!
  22. Hello! I'm MoonCaster. I'm into nature, magic, music, books, dance, comics, and ponies! I'm pretty new to all this but heard about this site at BronyCon and wanted to check it out.
  23. Hello Twilightflutterdash. I'm new here as well and always willing to talk to new people.
