Anyone a regular at their nearest coffee shop or cafe? Whether it's to get a favorite drink or just chill out or catch up on some work in a relaxing atmosphere? Got any favorite places? What are the best ones where you're from? What gave me the idea is my local shop: 1863 coffee saloon. Friendly staff. Homely atmosphere with a rustic charm. Back half was used for an art & photo gallery as well as an amateur performance stage and swap meet area. Built out of the historic saloon and railway station from when my town was founded. And sadly it'll be closing down at the end of the month. Guess I'll be making the most of these next few weekends then.

When you get your coffee, your espresso, your latte, your java or whatever caffeinated beverage of your choice, how do you prefer it? Piping hot as is tradition? Or do you prefer it iced and cold brewed? What say you? Me personally, I'd rather not have the inside of my mouth scalded. Also I find having it chilled really brings out the flavor.

Have you ever seen yourself on TV, whether it was for your local station, state affiliate, a national broadcast or, god forbid, world television? If so where was it and when? When I was 6, I got onto my city TV station's trick or treat special. I was dressed as Spawn. I looked so cute. What the hell happened? When I was 14, I attended the taping for WWE Friday Night Smackdown! There was speculation that popular wrestler, San Diego's Rey Mysterio Jr. was going to retire due to knee injury. Instead of the "Please don't retire' or "We'll miss you Rey" signs that were in abundance, I went with a sign that said "I'm from San Diego too Rey!" decked out in various "619"s, the local area code and the name of his finishing move. Saw the camera guy focus on me for a little while, and when I caught the airing later that week, I confirmed that I had made international TV. Oh and it's a rather positive look at Milwaukee's first every pony convention, and by Fox News nonetheless. What about you fine Fillies & Gentlecolts? A club dedicated to all posts and discussion about our favorite pastel equines in a roboticized, mechanized, cyberized, digitized or generally futuristic & Sci-fi manner.
