    Finally decided to ask my mother if i can donate. She sounds really hesitant about it, wondering if its safe and whatnot. Is there any way to confirm that is safe? I have told her how many people have done it and no one else has reported stolen information.

      I know, i told my mother it does in fact go through paypal, but i'm pretty sure they have never used paypal before. All i can do now is wait.

      The thing with PayPal is that you send money to an email address. I will never see your credit card or bank information - only ten bucks or whatever being sent to donations@mlpforums.com. Tell your mom to look around PayPal's website - it's considered to be one of the safest ways to make online payments.
