Indeed. I mean, when you think about it, both Discord and Chrysalis could be said to have felt justified in their villainy as well, but even they didn't think they were actually promoting harmony and friendship. She's going to make for an interesting villain, that's for sure.

I also adored how in-depth they were exploring cutie marks and the magic behind them, since I've actually in a similar manner done the same thing in my fanfiction. A major party in my version of Equestria is also troubled by cutie marks, but in the sense that they think that ponies rely on them too much to define who they are. They want to promote ponies being their best and individual selves, but not by relying too much on their CMs to...

...tell them who they are. So a similar conflict with cutie marks as the equalists, but different conclusions in the sense that they're taking individuality to an extreme at times instead of equality (at least, in the promotion of their philosophy).
