Being a critic of professional media is tough. But analysing and reviewing media by amateurs is something that pains me because fans typically don't have the resources or budget to produce something the pros can. It's a really touchy gray area for me to go into.
I fully agree, but there are times where you can tell which ones had the utmost effort put into them. A lack of resources doesn't excuse a lack of effort and attention to detail.
