    How funny how so many people claim "I was beaten (a.k.a., spanked), and I came out fine!" Either they are an exception to the rule or complete liars. We're in the 21st Century, and we have all the resources to discipline kids, all withOUT the need to beat or publicly shame them.

      To be fair, a lot of people don't realize how things affect their behavior. I don't think those people are lying, I just think they just don't connect the dots between their thought patterns and having been spanked as a kid.

      Lol... Look man, I understand what you're attempting to get at, but hear me out:

      If I acted up when I was a wee tike, I got spanked. If I have kids, I will not do that to them. But, I'm /thankful/ that /I/ was spanked when I was a kid, because I was an ornery, hyper brat as a kid. (Though, I never knew I had ADHD til I was 17).
