I have a history of perfectionism. Back when I was in school, I worked studiously to be the best I can be in my class and was heavily determined to pass with the highest grades possible. At times, this perfectionism became obsessive, such as reviewing a paper, only to get annoyed at a small typo, and then handing it to my professor, rereading it, back to the professor, rereading it, and then back (something I thankfully don't do anymore).
Reminds you of some purple alicorn, eh?
