Okay, I'll say it: Gauntlet of Fire is the best Spike episode thus far.

It may've been only a couple of episodes, but Spike has had a major improvement in S6. Oddly, ever since Princess Spike, the only bad role he had was accidentally destroying SA's comic book. Every other appearance seems to not put him at the short end of the stick.

Finished watching Gauntlet of Fire. I don't know if it eclipses Inspiration Manifestation as best Spike episode, but it's fabulous to see Spike treated with dignity, respect, and maturity. Maybe with Josh Haber at the helm, Spike won't be treated as a punching bag.

I agree. It achieved a lot of things where Dragon Quest failed. It didn't stereotype dragons; in fact, this episode challenged it. Stereotypical views of masculinity and femininity were bluntly criticized. Spike wasn't flanderized or OOC. The moral of how people can cooperate and learn from others when you don't operate upon unwritten rules is really mature.

They verbally abused their customers and employees. Their dishwashers and waiters were paid hourly, and any tips given to waiters were pocketed by the owner. Waiting times were terrible, and the food was lousy. But the cook believes she's excellent and doesn't accept any criticism. Their desserts (perhaps their best food) was store-bought.
Their worldwide notoriety comes from them being featured on Kitchen Nightmares.

I would've voted for Hillary Clinton if she became the nominee, but after seeing her husband both bash BLM and defend Hillary's racist "superpredator" term and herself suck up to imperalistic racism (stereotyping Palestinians and implicating Sanders is antisemitic for criticizing Israel), I don't know anymore.

One big flaw from Power Rangers's early series that really breaks the suspension of disbelief: Why the hell don't any of their families/parents know a damn thing about what they do? Would their long stays outside the home make them suspicious of them possibly being PRs?

Ahh the days before PR was fleshed out. It's why even though I'm a fan of MMPR I also acknowledge that it is a cheezy piece of crap of which the quality either gets better or worse after ZEO depending on the showrunner. BTW I would HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the Boom Studios MMPR Reboot Comics. Where the rangers ACTUALLY GO HOME AND INTERACT WITH THEIR PARENTS!!!

Major controversy about one of PPG's latest episodes: an episode about gender identity with MAJOR transphobic implications. From what I'm reading, the fans' anger is 100% justified.
