    As long as The Best Gift Ever doesn't rip off the EQG Holiday Special comic (which ripped off Ponyville Confidential), it has no shot of being anywhere close to the FIM's worst published media piece.

      The Hearth's Warming episodes so far have been good, so I see no reason why this shouldn't be that too! :D And the 44-minute specials seem to work well for EqG... :)

    Pacifica Northwest's parents are probably the most detestable characters in Gravity Falls. The ways they treated their daughter are manipulative and cruel with more of a focus on maintaining the vilility of their family dating back generations over being actually good parents.

      Really awful... I just read he was diagnosed for the first time at 22, so he's going through it for the second time at a very young age. :( I hope he gets better!

    I have no idea why people were upset when Rose Tico pushed Finn out of the path of the AT-M6 cannon. Finn was never going to make it! Rose saved a life that would've been pointlessly lost had she stayed back!

      Speaking of Bo Jackson, he's the best athlete I've ever seen. Not a doubt in my mind he'd be a 2 sport HOFer if he stayed healthy.

    Well…when the owners threaten to move a team out of San Diego if they didn't approve taxpayer funding, they vote against the owners, and then move to a city that clearly doesn't want them, I'm not shocked the Chargers are in trouble!

      As bad as relocation can be for the two LA NFL franchises; I could at least understand the Rams. The Chargers moving always felt like overkill and it doesn't shock me that this is happening.

      Seems like LAFC has been a tad more successful in the attendance market...

    I'm looking back at the transcript. Even with the plot convenience, I now don't think it's a plot hole anymore. And there's a very key detail why.

    Emphasis mine. It said that unicorn magic and spells will fail. Celestia and Luna are alicorns; their magic won't disappear till the end of the final day. Celestia and Luna would have enough magic for one more cycle.

    Now I believe I greatly overreacted last time. :blush:

      You gotta admit though, School Raze was one of the few times the writers actually made a good attempt at neutralizing the Celestial Sisters and the Mane 6.

      But its not as if any of them, including Starlight, were that particularly useful this season to begin with. Forget saving Equestria and the world, the Mane 6 were barely able to keep a school running. :huh:
