Dark Heart

Finally decide to make my oc from the ground up since there are thing i didn't like for one i made my original oc with pony maker so yeah..... I like lyra's hair/mane design so i stick with that but i think it came out pretty good, ill tho the filly version i just trace over from an already made filly body i found on google i still like it. Filly Version: And full "Grown" version: I decided to keep the old version of my cutie mark since it blends better than the "improve ones hive made yesterday. Also there is still another version i need to make which is her "Prime" version but need more time with that since its requires more detail. Programs Used: Paint.net +plug-ins. Time: Filly version 1.5 hours, Full grown: 3.5 hours (since i didn't trace this one )

So this is my Oc original cutie mark i conbine/made This is my new Version (Paint Version) And this one i dont count but since i been making "realistic" Eyes i made the cutie mark kinda realistic as well So what do you guys think? is original better or does the new improves on the old one?

Thing is i really couldnt tell you how to used it since i dont know the terms usually i just play with different techniques the program i used its good, not only its free but with the many plug-ins people have made for it it gives you a lot of stuff that can help you make different textures and what not this is some of the stuff i used in the program itself Hive try different programs but since i dont have the moneys this works just as well with this program i used to make signatures and wallpapers quite a while ago Link to the wallpapers i made if you interested http://mlpforums.com/topic/82756-wallpapers-by-dark-heart/

IKR? i have always like eyes that are different but not to excessive but not normal either

Many layers and different effects, i think for the first set i probably used around 15 different layers and on the second around 10 plus the new plug-ins i added to my program have really help on this

thx glad you guys like them xD Im still debating about adding the different color variation like in the show, on the corner like on my second pair seems to look odd for some reason maybe color filtering who knows

Thx ill probably continue to draw more eyes for a while and try different textures/filters I used a program call paint.net its good but you need to add plug-ins in order to get better results since it comes with limited filter options but its great to make vector with ^^ Link: http://www.getpaint.net/download.html

So on journey of learning on how to draw pony stuff im doing some pony parts as practice also testing some filter plugins i got recently so tell me what you think about "My Eyes"

Thx, yeah i had quite some trouble with the legs specially the ones on the back cause i tend to make them like alien legs xD thx for the tips ill use the circle on the legs. Is there any positions that you would recommend to work on the leg part? i appreciate the help ^^

Thx yeah it seem easier the second time but once you get focus you forget about time and when i look at the clock 5 hours had passed xD

So unlike last night upon i decided to draw a pony for the first time, today i had a bit more motivation xD Here is the full step sketchs i used to make this one which consisted on more steps than my first try xD First try done in about 40 minutes i think: Second try Took around 5 hours xD: So what do you guys think? besides continuing to practice what you guys recommend i try/fix for next one ps. thats my oc silver gears xD

Thx, yeah i agree that the mane and tail are simple (tbh just put it there cause i don't like bald ponies xD) as for the second part of your comment ill say this, i like to draw random stuff so i watch a lot of guides on youtube but there is a difference between watching and doing so hopefully my next one will be better thx for the advise

Thx ^^ Yeah i had trouble with the muzzle cause on the second and 3rd sketch it was more pointier but i thought it would look like a duck so i change it to a rounder one but hopefully my next one will be better thx for the tips ^^

So while i mainly focus on combining random vector on google and generic wallpapers i decided to give it a try to actually draw something and considering i suck at drawing >.> but i think it came out more nicer than what i had hope xD So here is the "Finish Part" The following is how i did it dunno if its correct "procedure" or what but it help me do this to begin with xD 1st "sketch" 2nd 3rd 4th and finally before coloring I wont ask for criticism cause its not worth the time but i would appreciate pointer or tips or whatever they are call xD
