  1. Sorry, forgot to post these!
  2. Awh thanks! That is one of my favourites too. I love Spitfire, so I'm glad I managed to get that one to a place where I am happy with it. Awh, thanks! <3 Hehe, thank you! ^^; Just keep trying! I'm sure you are doing just great.
  3. Thanks! I really wanna get more done - it's just a case of finding the time. Awh thank you! That's really nice of you! All of my main art gets posted on both, but I also post WIPs and things on Tumblr.
  4. I'm definitely going this year. This is the first time I'll actually be on the continent, so I'm not passing it up. It'll be the first really big con that I've ever been to, so I'm super excited. Would be cool to meet some of you guys too!
  5. I must say that your Spitfire collection on DA is very impressive. You have great taste in favourites. :P

      Whether you personally draw them or not, it's a big group with a lot of unique, many undiscovered artworks that filter through regularly x3 There's something there for everyone.

      Oh cool! I'll have to look that up! Sounds like a fun group to be in. :D

      Also, you're going to BronyCon, right? If so, it would be cool to have a meetup of some kind! :D

      I am, yes x3

  6. Well it depends a lot on things like pose (where easier poses take less time to get right). The guide and sketch will probably take me about an hour for me to be happy with. Lineart takes quite a while - probably 3-4 hours. Colouring only takes about 30 minutes. The shading will probably take about an hour or two. So anywhere between 5 hours and 7, I'd say.
  7. Ha, thanks! Glad I got you to like some stuff. Thanks very much! Yeah that's one of the ones I'm really happy with. Thank you! I use Photoshop CS6 on a MacBook Air. Right now I'm using a Wacom Bamboo, but I'm buying an Intuos Pro next month.
  8. Hahaha, thank you! Awh thanks! That's great. LD is the most recent one out of them - hopefully gonna get more stuff done soon though.
  9. This is the song that keeps getting stuck in my head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRe_Nk7rTf8
  10. Hi! I just realised that I never got around to making a topic about my art! I've been making MLP art since mid-2011. This is just a little bit of the more recent stuff I've been working on. You can find all of my newer stuff on http://rb-d.deviantart.com/ and http://rb-dashing.tumblr.com/. I hope you all like, and thanks for looking! Thanks!
  11. Ah right cool - I moved here from England, so I am a complete Anglophone.
  12. I'm planning on going this year, but I actually need to go about sorting out my registration and my hotel. ^^;
  13. I was in the UK state school system up until I was 18, and then I completed my undergraduate degree in Linguistics in the UK. Last here I moved to Canada to start my MA in Linguistics, which I'm currently doing.
  14. Thanks very much! I'll be sure to send you a message! Ah right, I see. Unfortunately I don't really know anything about Spanish. Is there not a practicing community here? I'm sure there is one on /int/ on Ponychan.
  15. You are in the Quebec Bronies FB group? Me too! Also, that art is awesome. I really like it!
  16. It's pretty interesting. I'm originally from the UK, so I've grown up with the apparent fascination of her in the UK media. The Royal Family is a bit strange, in that their largely ceremonial role in our lives is pretty minimal, and yet there is such a strong interest in the family. It seems to be a largely gossip-y interest, however, so I don't know how important it is. I live in Canada now, and the province in which I live (Quebec) is notoriously less interested in the 'traditional' Anglo-Canadian values. There isn't much interest in anything British here, but that is to be expected with the historical context. More generally, however, I think many of the Commonwealth nations have gotten past the whole British colony thing. I am not surprised when I hear of a lack of interest regarding the Royal Family here - they are just as unimportant here as in the UK, but even less relevant.
  17. Welcome! I hope you're enjoying it so far. You're from the UK? Me too!
  18. I will try my best! Oh thank you very much! I'll hit them up! Well that's cool! How are you finding it so far? Hi! Unfortunately I can't read/write Spanish. ^^;
  19. Oh thank you! That's really kind. I really hope to get to meet some interesting people here.
  20. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rainbow Dash How did you find MLP Forums?: How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Hi there! I decided to join up here in hope of getting to meet some cool new people. I've been pretty regular on Ponychan since Early/Mid 2011, and now I want to start branching out. A little about me: I'm originally English, but I moved to Canada last year for graduate school, where I am studying for a Master's degree in Linguistics. I'm interested in language (obviously), psychology, and philosophy. Outside of academia, I'm pretty into music, art, socializing, and ponies. I've been a musician for about 10 years, in which I play guitar, drums, piano, and I do some EDM production. I'm also an artist, and I draw pony fanart generally (my DA is http://rb-d.deviantart.com/ - I'll make a more in-depth post about this in the artist forum). Anyway, I've been a fan of the show since around the end of the first season, and I've been somewhat involved in some communities on Ponychan. I joined this forum for no specific interest - primarily, I wanted the chance to just talk to new people and increase my circle of friends online. Anyway, it's nice to be here, and I hope to get to know lots of you! Thanks!
