The only thing is that almost all the discussion about Inside Out is about how it's the first Pixar film to open lower than #1, never mind that it beat all of its predictions and is probably the second or third highest opening Pixar has had. All of that is quite the achievement for an original property.

Indeed. Those sites are forgetting the only reason why it's #2 is because it's competing with a successful and good Jurassic Park film, which those films are huge money makers if done right.

Kinda sucks that this was the film to hold that distinction for Pixar, though. A little bit of Joy, a little bit of Sadness, but all in fairness.
