  1. Ouch. This is a tough one, the mare thought to herself. One on hoof, she didn't want to risk being kicked off the ship, or worse. On the other hoof, she also didn't want to give it up her weaponry; she was only practiced in basic magic spells like telepathy and bubble-conjuring. Magical blasts were out of the question. She dreaded the thought of relying on somepony else for protection. Certainly no one in such a large group of strangers could care enough for her to step in and save her. Still, Shady couldn't take any chances. She had an important task to carry out here, and she was sure everything would be fine. Surely nopony would be foolish enough to attempt an assault while onboard such a heavily guarded airship. The security was intimidating enough while standing still; she couldn't imagine how terrifying they must be when answering the call of duty. Okay Shady, this is it. You're giving up your only means of self-defence. Let's hope you don't regret this. "Here you go...um...sir." She reluctantly presented the guard with her knife. "Um... Am I free to go now?" -
  2. My skin is silky smooth and golden brown ...But even that isn't enough to make me attractive
  3. Well she says the makeup and doll-like look ARE to get attention. She gives lectures on spirituality and astral projection, and said that people are more likely to listen to someone they find attractive. So she actually has a reason for her exotic get-ups. It's hard to believe, but the only kind of surgery she's had was on her breasts. Still, she must be starving herself to death. I can barely see her waist. Surely there are other ways to grab people's attention.
  4. Meet Valeria Lukyanova. This Ukrainian girl looks just like a real-life Barbie. Is there more to her than that? Absolutely. Amatue, the spiritual name she identifies as, comes from the planet Venus. Apparently, she has extrasensory abilities, and can communicate with her DNA through spiritual rituals and Lemurian chants. I think that she may have had traumatic childhood experiences that her mind represses (she mentions seeing "spirits" at the foot of her bed trying to "attack" her). She speaks very metaphorically. Valeria is quite the character, that's for sure! So what do you think? Is she just a pretty face, is she a lunatic, or what?
  5. "Well the way you fell from the sky, I thought maybe you were an angel or something." -Pazu

  6. New Cartoon Network is okay. I don't really care for any of the shows on there anymore, besides Adventure Time. My little sister is 8, and I got the opportunity to introduce her to the shows we had in the "golden years" (Flapjack, Jonny Bravo, Billy and Mandy, Foster's, Teen Titans, Courage, etc.) She agrees that these shows were better than the ones they are running now. But they can't keep the same cartoons, as the writers will eventually run out of ideas (Ed, Edd n Eddy comes to mind). I just wish they had something besides Boomerang where I could watch my favorite childhood shows. Boomerang doesn't air these shows much, it's mostly "classic" cartoons. I just want to watch shows like Samurai Jack and Dexter's Lab, and I feel like they would fit better with their own network than one that caters mostly to Hannah Barbara programs. Just my two cents
  7. Stepping down from the carriage and tossing a few bits to the driver, Shady Bubbles had finally arrived at the port of the Generosity. It looks even more amazing in person, the mare thought to herself as she slowly approached the boarding area. I wonder what mother would say if she could see me now - boarding a real airship owned by Rarity herself! It certainly was a spectacular sight. Although she had predicted a huge crowd of ponies to be on board, there seemed to be only a small group. That's all she could see from the ground, at least. Not that this bothered her - she had never been one for crowds. As she grew closer and closer to the port, she caught sight of the guards. These stallions were tall and muscular, and had stern, no-nonsense looks on their faces. These types of ponies presented a problem for Shady. They could be quite intimidating for anypony, but for a mare with a background like hers, they were the epitome of fear itself. Alright Shady, this will be the hard part. These ponies have no intentions of hurting you, remember? They don't even know you. You can do this. Shady approached the guards nervously. She had to be cautious here. It was natural for her to be anxious around such serious characters, but she couldn't reveal her emotions through conversation. Should the stallions find her to be a bit too nervous, they might think she was plotting against the fair Rarity. Presenting a ticket would be a simple task for most ponies; Shady, on the other hand, found situations like these to be difficult and stressful. She stepped up to the guards in her regal white dress, designed by the host herself many years ago. She looked quite beautiful in this type of attire, but her demeanor tended to conflict with her physical appearance. She suffered from a lack of self-confidence, and her behavior tended to reflect this trait. She only hoped that the guards wouldn't catch wind of her timid nature; she had to board this ship, and the security believing that she was conspiring against Rarity certainly wouldn't help. "Um... Hello... My name is... um... Shady Bubbles and I was invited to board this... ship thingy." Nice going. "Ship thingy". They certainly won't think you are plotting an assassination now, she thought to herself. You must have confidence. This conversation will be the deciding factor for whether you get to board or not. Don't buck it up. You can do this. "Um... Oh yes, I suppose you need to see my ticket... I have it right here in my bag... Um... Hold on just a moment." The mare began shuffling through her bag's contents rapidly. She was clearly intimidated, and sweat beads began to form on her brow. Sweet Celestia, girl, get ahold of yourself! You need to focus on why you're here in the first place. "Aha! Here it is!" She presented her invitation with glee. It was unknown to Shady if the guards caught wind of her sudden excitement, or if they even cared. She only hoped they would accept the ticket without asking too many questions. It wasn't that she was planning anything dastardly, but rather that she didn't wish to interact with them longer than she had to. Alright Shady, this is it. The moment of truth. Don't act suspicious. Using every bit of confidence she had, Shady tried to collect herself while she anxiously awaited the guards' response.
  8. I think me and Mobile CD should be involved in a romantic subplot Such a cutie
  9. As much as I love you for using this answer, it's not right.
  10. A poor man is sitting in a pub. He sees that the man next to him is extremely rich. Poor man: I have an amazing talent; I know almost every song that has ever existed. The rich man laughs. Poor man: I am willing to bet you all the money you have in your wallet that I can sing a popular song that includes a lady's name of your choosing. The rich man laughs again. He thinks of all the obvious ones, like Barbara Anne and Billie Jean, before deciding on a name that hasn't been used in a song before. Rich man: OK, how about my daughter's name, Joanna Armstrong-Miller? The poor man goes home rich. What song did he sing?
  11. It's kinda like the hotel one. When you hear it rather than read it, it will stump you :okiedokielokie:
  12. I have no answer for this. You got me on this one. My only guess would be
  13. Because for pretty much all of season 4, she's still just Twilight. No one treats her any differently. That had fans in an uproar as well. She's a princess now right? Shouldn't her new role be addressed somehow? That's when Twilight's Kingdom came in to fill in the gaps and answer all of those questions we had. We found out what was in the box, we got to see Twilight struggle to understand her place as princess, and we watched as Golden Oaks Library was transformed into Twi's very own castle. S4 was excellent in my opinion. It's still very much the same show. You can't expect the characters to remain the same way they were in the earlier episodes. Any good show has some sort of character growth, and MLP is no exception.
  14. My thunder comes before the lightning. My lightning comes before the clouds. My rain dries all the land it touches. What am I?
  15. Wow It was that simple the whole time? I feel like an idiot. But it still doesn't add up, since the men would be paying $27 for a $25 rent. Well, I guess since the bellboy cheated them out of $2 it would make sense. It's just the way it is worded that makes it confusing. My head hurts I hate math
  16. Well yeah, I figured as much. I just don't see how. This one has caused me quite a few headaches over the years. Someone who's a better at math than me should explain it
  17. Very good. This is one straight from my grandmother. It irritates me to no end, as I don't actually know the answer Three men came to stay at a hotel, and when they went to the desk to check in, they decided to share a room to save money. The manager assigned them a room and charged them $30 altogether. Each paid $10 for his share, and then they all were shown up to their room by the bellboy. A short while later, the manager discovered that she had overcharged the three men for the room she had assigned them; it was actually only $25. She took $5 out of the till and instructed the bellboy to go up to their room and return the money to them. The bellboy saw an opportunity to make a little extra tip. He rationalized that $5 was difficult to split three ways, and decided to take up $3 to the men, giving each of them $1 return, and pocket the other $2 for himself. So the men each put in $10 and got $1 back. So that's $9 times 3, which is $27, plus the $2 the bellboy took makes $29. Where is the other $1?
  18. Here's a good one. I preceded God. I am greater than God. I am more evil than Satan. Poor people have me. Wealthy people need me. If you eat me, you will die. What am I?
  19. I've got 3 I can think of. 1. How many days of the week start with "T"? 2. When I am young, I am tall. When I am old, I am short. When I am young, I am solid. When I am old, I am liquid. What am I? 3. I keep dry as I get wet. What am I?
  20. I remember this one from Labyrinth. I hope I explained that right But even if I didn't it's the right answer.
  21. There exists a move in the original Pokemon games that is literally gamebreaking. This move is clearly unbeatable
  22. This is my favorite scene out of all 4 seasons Quality writing in this one.
  23. RARIGHOST IS BEST SHIP NO CHALLENGE No but seriously I like Dislestia. They have a kind of synergy going on with the whole light/dark, chaos/harmony thing. They completely contradict each other in every way, which makes them excellent FOILs for each other (Thank you English 12, I finally put you to good use). Plus, Discord giving Celestia flowers was freaking adorable http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR1jFH2q1zc
