  1. @@Lightning Bliss, Roac startles and looks at you, nodding as he replies. "Oh? Okay, sure. Fire at will, Bliss!" Roac spreads his arms out to his sides, making himself an easy target. He, actually, expects her to try some sort of healing spell, as he genuinely believes that she simply wants to test it.
  2. @@Lightning Bliss, Roac sits back as Bliss finally gets her dance with Night Lights. He laughs as the two weave around each other in flight... And as he watches them performing their wonderful flying dance, he feels as if the scars on his back were being reopened. A sort of melancholy came over him, as he longed for his lost power of flight. The power that had been taken from him. But, that kind of thinking had no place in a party such as this. This is a merry occasion, a celebration of a cherished friend living to see another year. A celebration of life. And so, Roac put on a smile to keep things merry-- no matter how saddened he was.
  3. @@Lightning Bliss, "He said that this is designed to amplify your magical range, making it easier to cast spells, and to learn new ones. You just put it on your horn like this..." Roac twists the device onto the princess's horn. It actually fills up the ridges perfectly, turning your horn into a smooth cone.
  4. @@Lightning Bliss, Roac crashes to the ground. "Oof! Hi Blissy..." The griffon gets back up onto his paws and hugs you back. "I must admit that I left the Gala on rather bad terms, and... Well, I couldn't properly miss your birthday, could I? So, since I got myself a vacation day, I decided I'd come here, seeing as there is a party going on!" He pauses, holds up a talon, and pulls something out of his pocket. "I brought you a gift!" "Remember when you told me about your magic issues? Well, I have a friend-- an inventor, actually-- who specializes in helping ponies with their magic, and he made you this! Free of charge!" It's a small crystalline object, about the size of your horn. It's a small, sapphire rod, spiraling in the exact formation of the ridges on an alicorn's horn. Roac seems very excited about it. @, "Yes, we actually met at the Gala, two weeks ago. And who would you be?"
  5. Roac was charging through the streets of Canterlot. ~buckbuckbuckbuckbuck!!~ And he was going to be late to Bliss's party. In Ponyville. He hadn't even picked up her gift yet! Checking his watch, he decided that now was the time to use the eye. He pulled off the eye patch that suppressed it and hung it around his neck, causing time to slow around him as a small trail of dust forms in front of him, leading to the workshop of Mystic Rivet. About 20 minutes later... Roac appears behind Bliss, wearing a brown trench coat with Lunar Watch patches, along with his dark gray leg warmers. He's also wearing an eye patch. "Howdy, Princess! Happy birthday! "
  6. @@Lightning Bliss, @@dashian500, @, Roac is scared and confused right now. All of the guards, especially Steel, were now highlighted in the same red tinge that Grell had. The princesses, however, were a bright gold, and Dark Star was a pale blue. Roac quietly walked over to Dark Star, whispering, "Thank you for your assistance. I wish that your sentence may be merciful." And, with that, Roac disappeared into the night, his beak lined with sadness and conflict. He didn't understand why all this was happening to him, nor did he know why everything looked different. But, just before he left, he decided to leave a note to Bliss. He left the note where he was originally standing, and returned home to his clocktower. On the way, he returned the suit, and got back into his thief's clothing. Lighting his fireplace, he sat at the floor and contemplated, blinking his eyes one at a time. He found that his sight returned to normal, and everything sped back up to its normal speed, when he closed his blue eye. ~This night went to Tartarus FAST... But, it was still mostly good...~ (To be continued in the Birthday RP! Thanks, this was good! Enjoy the rest of the RP, everypony!)
  7. Okay, so I got this idea from a random conversation I had with a friend. So, what if you could play your OC in a fighting game, such as Marvel VS. Capcom or Super Smash Bros? What would their play style be, and what kinds of abilities would they have? To start off, here's some of my OCs. Iron Hammer: Iron would be a very tank-ish character. He'd be slow, with a lot of defense, and his attacks would be lumbering sword swings that have long animations, but are nearly impossible to escape if they aren't interrupted. Roac: Roac would be a very offensive character, having no kind of blocking ability. However, he would be able to deal massive damage with his bow at long range, and if an opponent got close Roac could obliterate them with several rapid melee attacks. Mystic Rivet: Rivet would be a very long-range character, using his gadgets to flood the screen with Kamehama-style beams of energy and shielding himself with force fields. He'd have no real way to defend himself at close range, though. And, I'll just post my friend's OC here for ya; Gale: Gale would have a unique play style, being a fragile, slow-moving fighter. But, she has very powerful transmutation magic for defense, allowing her to call up her transmutation circle and simply "turtle" until her opponent loses patience and tries to rush her. She could then use her melee attacks, which do extremely high amounts of damage, to kill her opponent in seconds.
  8. Roac calmly walks in, nonchalantly flashing his copy of his letter to the guards. As he walked in, they stopped him and confiscated a taser, conveniently hidden inside one of his leg warmers. He called an elevator to the 78th floor, and walked into the room where the other two guests were. He regards the the other guests with a cold gaze. ~So, Daring Don't and a ninja? I'd better hope that this Silver Sheath guy doesn't want us to reenact The Hunger Games~ The griffon walks by, causing you all to ask yourselves, "Why doesn't he have any wings?"
  9. @@dashian500, @, Roac soon got up after having a shielding spell casted on him, and looked at the unicorn. "Well, fancy meeting you here. Sorry about the skull fracture earlier, your words were... Well, suspicious, to say the least." Roac then replied to his question, saying, "Well, for starters, I was dancing with Princess Bliss-- by her request, I might add-- when she suddenly started saying something about Grell and death magic. She then told me to go find Night Lights... Just before she fainted." "As for me being okay, you should know that I've been in worse... Besides, whatever it is that you unicorns are picking up did something to my eye!" Then, suddenly, Grell started acting all cocky and indignant, turning away to cast another spell. Roac decided that he would have none of this, and leaped out of the shield at Grell, before any spirits or whatnot could grab him. First, the griffon rushed to the master necromancer and delivered a vicious blackjack attack to the unicorn, in the back of the head. His bandage came flying off of his face as he attacked Grell, his eye being revealed. The griffon thief's right eye is glowing with pale blue magic. Grell, you've just turned Roac into a magical creature. *sarcastically* Congratulations. To Roac, as soon as the bandage comes off, everything has a blue, ethereal tinge to it, and they are moving very slowly. He can also clearly see almost all the spirits in the crypt, as glowing blue wraiths. However, Grell appears as a bright, blood-red figure.
  10. My Little Dashie was the piece of work that caused me to wonder what exactly MLP was, and become a brony. I just watched the wonderful mini-movie dedicated to it. I cried just as hard as I did when I first heard a reading of the story itself.

  11. @@dashian500, Roac charges in, his blackjack at the ready. "GRELL!!!" The griffon halts and takes a few steps back in horror, watching the necromancer's work unfolding from the crypt. He came in through the entrance. "Grell!! What in Tartarus are you doing?!" Roac soon put the pieces of his own puzzle together, concluding that Grell was attempting a channeling spell. "Grell, you need to stop this! You're harming the ponies in there!.. Grell, if you don't stop this, I'll be forced to-- AAAAH!!!" The griffon was then assaulted by a ripple, causing him to scream and clutch his eye. Some of the spirits began to sizehim, dragging him to the ground. "Ngh.... stop... this.... Grell..." Roac is pulled down by angry and jealous spirits that had been foolishly called forth, crushing him and causing him to drop his blackjack and begin to groan weakly with pain. "Agh.... Grell... please!.." Roac struggles against the spirits, and you see a pale, blue light coming from behind his makeshift bandage. He appears to be getting loose... ~Have to... Get free... they're so strong... Allah!..~
  12. @@Lightning Bliss, @@Polaris, @@Doc. Volt, Roac becomes very alarmed as she says this, and darts to the side as she passes out, whipping his claws outwards to catch her. He carries the unconscious mare over to her friends. "Go get Night Lights, NOW..." "... I'm going to have a few choice words with a certain necromancer." As Roac leaves, another ripple occurs, this time striking Roac as well. He gasps in pain and covers his right eye, staggering backwards for a moment before untying his bowtie and using as a bandage for his eye, continuing on his march to confront Grell. ~Alright, if I were a crazy necromancer, where would I cast my evil maleficar spells?..~ ~How about a graveyard? Nice and cliche. Plus, this place has a burial ground...~ Roac turns to the graveyards and marches with indignation, looking completely ridiculous with his bowtie bandage. He reaches into his coat pocket to pull out his blackjack. Once he arrives, he gets reasonably angry at Grell for (what he believes is) an uncalled for attack on Lightning Bliss, one of the nicest females that he has met (other than the manager at the orphanage he lived in as a cub.)

  14. @@Lightning Bliss, As he is glomped, Roac first looks quite surprised. His surprised expression turns to a lighthearted grin, and he laughs a little. His laughing is deep, masculine, and it sounds like it would sound more appropriate for somepony's grandfather than a grounded bird-lion. As Roac stands quietly, almost stoically, Bliss started talking again. Her words almost sounded flirtatious, but she was married, and Roac could not fathom how a wife could be unfaithful to a husband like Night Lights. Bliss goes on to drag the griffon back onto the dance floor, requesting another dance. Roac grins at this, and uses his momentum to move past Bliss and twirl her around, starting off the dance with excitement. "I was not informed how affectionate people are in Equestria, nor all of this..." "...physicality." He chuckles at that, keeping the banter lighthearted and... Well, not serious. "Well, I have found that there is quite a bit about Equestria that I'll have to get used to, and even more that I'll have to learn... People of different races and backgrounds, all in one place... Almost unheard of, elsewhere."
  15. @@Lightning Bliss, @@Polaris, @@Doc. Volt, Roac sat by as the two mares left, only showing any signs of anger when they began to talk about the royals there. He calmed down once they left. After all that has happened, he has lost the innocent and playful demeanor that he displayed out in the garden; now he's gone back to his quiet, reserved self. When Bliss begins to talk and looks to Roac, he simply nods in agreement. No words were necessary to convey his message. As Bliss went on, Roac simply sank his face into his claws and sighed with exasperation. "In one night I have had to encounter both a dangerous-- or, at least what I thought was dangerous-- criminal, and I found myself on the wrong end of a black spell. I speak in all truth when I say that I am at least as tired of this night as you are, Bliss... But, if it helps you at all, I came here looking to make a profit, and I, instead, found a treasure far beyond anything that gold can buy..." He sighs again and leans on the table. "I have found a friend. And that... That is something that I have not found in years." He smiles at the group. "Now, I know that you all might not have been quite as lucky... But this night was not a total waste!"

  17. @@Lightning Bliss, @@Polaris, @@Doc. Volt, (OOC: Sorry, I had stuff to do. I'll try to fill up all of Roac's actions in this post) Roac stops and turns to follow Bliss instead of attempting to find and apologize to the prince. Roac, although he is thoroughly tired of all the heroics he's been thrust into tonight, is quite faithful in Bliss's ability to lead-- so much so that he has adopted a "if she is okay with it, then so am I" attitude. When he and Bliss enter the ballroom, he remains very quiet in the background, observing the conversation... And nearly breaks into tears as he views the good Doctor's predicament. The griffon is, as a matter of fact, quite envious of his luck, mouthing, "Casanova." as he chuckles in a smug manner. His jealousy is interrupted by Bliss' intervention, as he soon becomes confused as to whether the two drunken mares (why do they always come in twos?) were actually welcome, not to mention who they were in the first place. And then Volt renewed his apparent flirting, offering to take them home to... "sleep". The griffon clears his throat, chuckling a little at the unusually calm instance that was being laid in front of him.
  18. @@Lightning Bliss, @@dashian500, Roac, after seeing the Princess being tormented by the dark magic that Grell used, had leaped in front of her, his blackjack ready. Sadly, he was not protected like Bliss, and was almost instantly bombarded by a stream of horrific images. His blackjack clattered to the floor, falling out of his claw, as he stared with his beak open and his eyes the size of dinner plates. "You.... You are a demon... Allah protect me!.." The griffon fell to the ground and started mumbling terrified prayers, attempting (unsuccessfully) to ignore the images. ~It knows me! This thing knows what I've done!.. I need to repent, to beg for forgiveness!!~ The hex seems to have more of an effect on Roac than anypony else, as the poor griffon has been brought down to his knees by the evil spell. He continues with his praying until the spell is stopped. After Grell ends the spell, Roac gasps and sputters incoherently, pointing a talon at the death mage. He mumbles something, yet nopony can hear him but Bliss. "Maleficar!" He eventually calms down, and after being helped by Bliss, hastily walks away from Grell, in the same direction Blueblood went.
  19. @@Lightning Bliss, @@dashian500, Roac did not know who this "Grell" pony was, or if he was even a pony. What he did know was that he was using some sort of dark magic in a spot where a more subtle approach was necessary "Uh... Excuse me.... Why don't you let me and the princess handle this?", he mumbled to Grell. He did not phrase it as a request, but more of a suggestion, as if to tell this dark creature, "Bad idea, dude." Roac walks in front of Grell to make his move first. "Ah, so you're the infamous Prince Blueblood that I hear so many things about. Why don't you go back to playing with your dolls, you immature foal?" Blueblood's posse groans quietly at the stinging remarks, and some ponies in the crowd giggle behind their hooves. "And as for Princess Bliss here, at least she has some sort of power! You are nothing but a washed-up wanna-be! You will NEVER be on the same level as she is, because you can't even be trusted to handle 10 bits without spending it all on some useless luxury! So, allow me to make a crystal-clear message to you and whatever creatures reside in that mane of yours..." Roac has won over the crowd by now, as everypony secretly had wanted to deliver the burning message that Roac was sending right now. The ponies giggled with every insult and remark, and even some of Blueblood's posse were beginning to laugh as the cruelly true burns. "NOPONY HERE GIVES A FLYING FEATHER ABOUT YOU OR YOUR HALF-BAKED OPINIONS! The filth that streams from your mouth is so completely and utterly worthless that I wouldn't even throw it in my trash can!" He didn't say anything that cut too deep, did he?" The crippled griffon pauses to touch one of your oversized ears with a claw. "He doesn't know what he is talking about. The Creator gave you your ears and tail for a reason; and, as it appears, you have found that reason. You might be isolated by ponies, but the griffons and dragons look upon you as a beautiful creature, one of the most relatable princesses in the Royal Family..." He smiles and parts your feathers, like the leaves of a palm tree, to peek out at you. "You might think that they hate you because they truly believe that you are an abomination, but... I look at it, and I see fear in them. Jealousy, even. That stallion, he wants what he can't have-- to be where you are, to be a pony who is truly loved.
