Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a song request. Your song will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Think I'd forget a second time, my crowd?
So I guess the biggest thing is that my uncle has pneumonia now.
His health has been on the decline for a long while now. I really hope he gets better soon. Part of that is he needs to hurry up and get a corrective surgery done soon.
As for me personally, I did get some things done here and there. I got a new wifi adaptor since I busted the old one (It still works, but it's hard to get a solid connection on it). This new adaptor might not give me all the Mbps I was hoping for, and I may have made a mistake getting another thumb drive adaptor with no proper ventilation. However, it is working for now. I have a stable internet connection and I have more speed than I've had in a while. It will do.
I got to try out some new things too!
I got to try a Celsius, the new energy drink everyone is raving about. I thought it was okay. I don't see how it's any healthier than any other energy drink, and some flavors might not have as much caffeine. But hey, it's an option at least. I also got to try some freeze dried candy. It was pretty fun! It's almost too easy to eat a bunch of that stuff in one sitting.
I got to see a bunch of trailers recently. Some of them were 2nd and 3rd trailers, so I don't usually report on any of those unless something wows me. There's a trailer for a cartoon that disappointed me, but hopefully it'll be good and entertaining. I also learned that despite the rumors, there is no trailer for the 3rd Sonic movie yet. What was reported at CinemaCon was really more like a test demo or a proof of concept, not an actually complete trailer.
First time for everything, I guess. As for actual 1st trailers I saw... I saw trailers for two different Star Trek shows, at least one of which I should have been excited about. But the use of pop music to sell it just turned me off. It's Gladiator 2 all over again. This is beginning to feel like another year of brands losing their identities.
Gotchard 43: Brothers in Chemie Warfare!
Well just to start, I can say that I was not expecting how this would end. I thought for sure that Zabimaru would be transforming into Dread. But I guess defeating Dread, now as the Dread Trooper, works just as well. He overcame his fears for his family, and the over all ending of the episode was pretty sweet. With just enough intrigue to see what comes next. But the frozen friends joke went on far too long. I refuse to believe they were stuck for weeks; that would have killed them. (BTW, young Zabimaru and his brother really gave off FMA vibes, just without the horrific tragedy.)
Gotchard 44: Don't Mind Me.
Not much I can say since this episode is mostly build up for what comes next. But this pretty much confirms, there is only so many times you can neuralyze someone's brain before it starts doing damage. Have I mentioned I am getting tired of Spanner? How strange would it be if everything leading up to this series just ends in a bitter rivalry-turned-enemies between Spanner and Gotchard?
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and choose wisely.
Yo... Why is this kind of smooth, though? I honestly wish it didn't fade out near the end. Would have been nice to get a full AI cover with a proper ending. This is "Live and Learn but it's continued by an AI (Suno AI)" by Level Lore.
