Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
How are things going for you, my crowd? Boy, do I have a lot to share~!
So the best news I have to share is that my uncle was discharged from the hospital! Doesn't mean he is necessarily done receiving medical treatments, but he is far healthier now than he has been in a long while.
I also did some more shopping. Got a new hat. Not the one I want the most, but one that does look good on me. Also got a new shirt in a style that I absolutely love.
Talk about trailers~! Let's start from the beginning... I'll admit, Moana II looks very promising! It looks true to form. As for the new Mufasa trailer, I am conflicted. I still don't know if they are retconning his history or not, but I will say, the acting in the trailer is so good that it makes me sad that this is being made in "live action" CGI rather than in animation similar to the original Lion King. The Snow White trailer leaves me dead. I can't believe they kept the actor that was bad mouthing Disney, and they even decided to ditch real actors for the dwarves in favor of CGI dwarves. No matter how good they try to make the trailer look, I don't have hope. I am VERY surprised they are making an anime for "The Red Ranger Becomes An Adventurer In Another World"! I read the first issue of the manga and loved it, but the actual Red Ranger is way too anime hyper than what I was expecting. And the biggest surprise is, Classic Doom is getting a new release with tons of new content! Totally didn't see that coming.
Gotchard 45: All Spirit, No Chemicals! Once again, I am pleasantly surprised! That was a rather well written episode. Might not be how I would have ended it, but it's still great. They even managed to tie in the b-plot in quite nicely. However, I was not expecting that Vtuber ending. Really shows you just how much Japan is embracing them now.
That's it for now, my crowd. Take care, and revive your spirits.
Heh. And they say Japan doesn't censor American cartoons nor inject any less-than-faithful translations. And yet, here we have a prime example of Japan doing just that. This is "Reviews from Japanese who watched AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE for Japanese dubbed version" by NONNON Japanese reviews.
