Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Red Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a song request. Your song will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Hello, my crowd!
I am only late because I was too tired to post yesterday night.
It's strange. An item I bought recently came in, and it works. However, it turns out I didn't need it after all. It wasn't until I talked to my internet provider that I was easily able to solve my problems. I swear, the solution they gave me didn't work before... Technology. It makes no sense to me sometimes.
After talking things out the the construction worker, things played out how I thought they would. We made it clear what part of my mother's property he is SUPPOSE to work on, and he'll gladly pave a new sidewalk for free to make up for the destruction caused.
[ 1 / 2 ] MOVIE TIME!
First, I saw Kpop Demon Hunters! I am so weary of CGI animated movies these days. But I heard some noise and I decided to cave in to curiosity, and I'm glad I did! I don't usually care for Kpop, and yet I loved this! It checked off so many good boxes for a good movie. I really do hope this gets a sequel at least. Part of the movie is lost on me since I don't know that much about Korea nor its culture & history. However, you don't really need to know much to enjoy this movie. Same with the music, which is mostly sung in English! I played this movie in other dubbed languages, but was saddened to see there wasn't a full Korean version of the songs (nor a Japanese version either). Seems like a disappointment, honestly, since most of these songs are very plot relevant to what is going on. Still, no regrets! Would highly recommend this movie.
[ 2 / 2 ] DOUBLE FEATURE!
I also saw Little Shop Of Horrors. This movie might have been a little overhyped for me since I've heard SO many people talk about and reference this movie over the years. However, it was still an amazing experience! So many great actors. So many surprisingly great pieces of music. You know, in light of the current trend of popular vintage movies returning to theaters (perhaps for a big anniversary event), I think Little Shop Of Horrors should be one of them. It's been a long while, and this title might just be slightly obscure enough to get people interested in it, especially if Rick Moranis is coming back to acting. But mostly, the final shot of the movie really shows how it was truly meant to be watched on the big screen. Maybe in 3D too! Give it a watch, but be ready to expect the surreal.
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and sing out loud.
Vtubers? Eurobeat music? Celebrity crossovers? Yes please! This is "DIAMOND GIRLFRIEND" by IRyS ft. MOTSU.

@Samurai Equine Yes, yes, Rainbow Rocks is what she meant. No worries, I'm not saying she criticized it for having some similarities in any shape or form. She just vaguely compared these two for featuring girls and the music battles (or something like this), to briefly describe how it looks like when she mentioned that movie to me, as she knew I'm familiar with Equestria Girls- notably Rainbow Rocks being relevant here. She liked the movie and recommended it to me as well.

That's funny~! Because I saw someone comparing Kpop Demon Hunters to Frozen, and now I can't unsee it. The comparison wasn't a criticism, but I was amazed at the similarities that lined up.
