TOKUSATSU MUSIC HIGHLIGHT:
"Armor Zone" and "Die Set Down" by Taro Kobayashi.
AND!
"Eat, Kill All" by Taro Kobayashi and NoB.
BONUS ROUND!
Don't confuse this for the vintage series. This is Kamen Rider Amazons, plural, with an S at the end. Season 1 premiered in 2016. If the regular Kamen Rider TV shows and movies are made for kids and general audiences, this is very much meant for older audiences. It is filled with tragic stories, gore-filled battles, and increasingly blurred lines between human and monster. The vintage series was all ready somewhat darker with heavier amounts of candy-red blood. However, this show cranks things up to One Thousand. Not for the faint of heart. It was made exclusively for Amazon Prime, but it did air on Japanese TV too. Eventually, Amazon Prime released an international version of both seasons with English subs, but oddly enough renamed the series "Amazon Riders" for some reason. The movie, however, never got an international release. Too bad; because it's the final chapter in the story.
Did you know that the names of these songs are also puns/word play?
"Armor Zone" is clearly another way of saying "Amazon". "Die Set Down" is a play on "Daisetsudan", the finishing attack of the original Kamen Rider Amazon. And "Eat, Kill All" is another way of saying "Ikiro" (Live). BTW, Taro made English Versions of the first two songs. The translation is rough, but mostly accurate!
SpoilerA completely random release, but it really shows how a property like Kamen Rider can appeal to audiences of any age; and it opened the door for certain future releases too.
SpoilerR.I.P. Nobuo (NoB) Yamada (1964-2025)
Fate must be done, my crowd.
