And to think I was having such a good night too...
I received some some bad news tonight. My mother has been waiting on another operation that might actually fix her health problems a bit more effectively. It was scheduled for noon on Friday. And then, at the last moment, guess what happened.
The doctor called and canceled, saying they won't be able to be there. They'll have to reschedule.I just feel so bad for my mother. She was SO CLOSE to the finish line! She shouldn't have to be suffering in pain even longer.
Maybe if we are lucky, things will change for the better soon. For now, please keep my mother in your thoughts and prayers. She needs all the help she can get.

Thank you, Expy. My mother is in better spirits now. We are still trying to reschedule, but she is not letting her disappointment keep her down.
