TOKUSATSU MUSIC HIGHLIGHT:"Journey Through The Decade" by GACKT.
AND!
"Samurai Sentai Shinkenger" by Psychic Lover & Project.R.
Crossing Blades with Generations.
The year is 2009, and what a year!! Easily one of the best in tokusatsu history, and the party is only just beginning. For Kamen Rider Decade, it's an anniversary season celebrating the first 10 years of the Heisei era. The entire story is focused around a multiverse journey while our main hero tries to find out who he is and how he fits in all this. Shinkenger, my #1 favorite Sentai, is the first and so-far only samurai-themed squadron of superheroes. Thanks to Decade, this is also the first time Rider and Sentai have a crossover. The crossovers that happen in Decade are absolute hype, even if the story could be better. The fact that they got Gackt to do the theme songs is amazing as well (He never came back to tokusatsu, but the future never knows~). Almost ten years later (2018), Psychic Lover made an English version of their Shinkenger theme. The translation isn't great, but it's still interesting. They both got their fair share of movies, making V-Cinema movies very popular for tokusatsu. Get ready, because after this, tokusatsu media really starts to bloom~! It may be a while before we see either of these shows released internationally, uncut; but the best stuff is worth the wait.Let's Bushido On The Road, my crowd.

Hello there, my crowd! Welcome to my Weekly Musings: Orange Edition.
[I ❤ JAPAN] -- [I ❤ THE COLOR RED] -- [I ❤ CELESTIA]
Feel free to leave a video request. Your video will eventually be featured in a future Weekly Musings entry!
Hey there, my crowd!
Ever wish you had a pet chicken or a pet duck?
So I guess the biggest highlight of my week was fixing some damage on the side of my mother's house. It was a slightly bigger project than I though, but once I got going, it got done. I even got a saw out of it! I also bought a little medicine basket. I'm not quite old enough for a Sun-Sat pill sorter, but having my regular pills in one place does help.
[ 1 / 2 ] This was the week where I got to try different kinds of sodas! They are both "healthier alternatives" to regular soda; filled with probiotics and natural ingredients. First, I tried Poppi, "Classic Cola" flavor. Since Pepsi bought the rights to it, I wanted to try it before Pepsi does anything to it. I was afraid since it has Apple Cider Vinegar as one of its ingredients, but it was actually pretty good! The flavor was halfway between a Coke and a Pepsi, so I can see why Pepsi bought the rights. The color was a light caramel. Not enough carbonation to get that deep fizzy feeling, but there is still some there. If it were me, I might drink this every weekend!
[ 2 / 2 ] The next one I tried is called Olipop, "Vintage Cola" flavor. Despite being a probiotic soda with a similar art style on the can, it tastes different. The amount of carbonation is a little weaker, the color is darker, and it has a sour flavor that I was afraid of. Which is ironic, because Olipop does NOT have Apple Cider Vinegar, yet it tastes like it does. I have no idea what is causing that sour taste. I can't even compare it to any of the major brands, it just tastes like one of those skunky generic brands. But I will say this... DO NOT DRINK THESE SODAS BEFORE BED! I made the mistake of drinking one a short while before bed, and since I didn't give it a chance to properly digest, it nearly kept me up all night.
Apparently, Japan is going to try their knack at another Transformers cartoon; this time in CGI. I am not too impressed right now. Not only does it look too kid friendly, but I wish Japan would stop trying to make Optimus into a Megazord. He doesn't need to be a rainbow-colored combiner.
MOVIE TIME!
Not sure how I forgot to mention this, but I saw the Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths animated trilogy. For those that don't know, this is the conclusion to a series of animated movies that DC has been making. I have not seen every adaptation of this story, so I might not be capable of fairly judging it. The good thing is that you don't necessarily need to see all those previous animated movies, but it would help. Second, there are some good moments in it here and there. However, this trilogy is a slow burn, and the first movie confuses you since they don't tell things sequentially. They really should have tried tell it in 1 or 2 movies instead. It doesn't get really good until the third movie, where we see homages to other animated DC properties, including Kevin Conroy's famous last recording as Batman. I did find it ironically funny how they referred to the multiverse as a cancer that shouldn't be.
Yeah, it's not bad, but not as epic of a finale as I was hoping for. The comics probably did it better for the most part. I'd say only watch it if you're really interested or all ready invested in this animated universe.
Sonic Boom S2 24-27: Requiem for Robots.
So the Morristown (now Roboken) special is over, complete with unaddressed civilian death! It's strange to see such an action-packed story with actual steaks and continuity, almost to the point where this might spoil me. Guess we'll have to see. The hotel episode is just weird, and I couldn't help but think of Hotel Mario the whole time. I knew it was only a matter of time before one of the Sonic characters befriends an Eggman robot. Never thought I'd see the day where Sonic is tired of chilidogs. Also, I do think the writing is getting over all better.
That's it for now, my crowd.
Take care, and make a list of your priorities.
I know nothing about this game; I've never played it. And yet, I want to make this. This is "Fortnite Slurp Juice (ft. Penguiz0)" by More Nick.
