    sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png I didn't just celebrate one holiday this past week, I celebrated two! My uncle's birthday and Mothers Day, which happened nearly on the same day. It's kind of hard to celebrate since we both put more emphasis on my uncle's birthday, and it wasn't long ago that my mother had hers. But I was able to do some things that made her happy as well. Simple things, but it's the thought that counts, and she likes the simple things just as much. :pinkiesmile:

    twi.png.f9a8f7839a12a89136cd0641ade8efb0.png Sonic Boom S2 41-44: Comedy but Compelling. 256x256.png In 41, I am not sure if I should find it weirdly fitting or strange that Eggman's fortress is somehow more dangerous than his actual plans. Didn't care for the episode where Eggman goes back to school, but I wonder if the song is free to use on YouTube... A multiverse episode in a comedy is strange; but it did sort of remind of SatAM, so I am sure some fans liked it for that. And in 44, was not expecting a tribute to The Fly, but on the upside, this episode was a way more compelling robotization story than whatever happened in Sonic Lost World.

    sun.png.8ab21d7000bfb88f283da8c5e2f104cc.png MOVIE TIME! icon?1379626399 I recently saw Batman Ninja VS Yakuza League. Admittedly, I was skeptical since the first movie gave me mixed feelings. However, this movie was a thousand times better than the first! We got Justice League members reimagined in the best Japanese way, a classic anime moment, a traditional Japanese song moment, and so much more! I absolutely loved it. Furthermore, this movie shows a direction that DC superheroes are starting to go down. They'll be designed with a lot of suit details and stuff; like something you might see in the movies. They'll have their serious story moments and character moments too. Then out of nowhere, they'll have their goofy and silly moments, but it's never at a detriment to the plot. To me, this is the best way to leverage the serious stories many fans want with the goofier side of the source material. It can be tonal whiplash at times, and it it can be annoying to many; but I really think it's the best way to go. I've been seeing this style in more DC titles lately; and I think it really is for the best.

    I love funny Sonic videos. The fans can make something great; but it's next level when (previously) official voice actors get in on it too! This is "One Real Sonic (ft. Jason Griffith & Lisa Ortiz)" by Jehtt.

    Trilby at this point was on automatic pilot. As he lost in his own existential dread, he brohoofs without even realizing he brohoofed. All this hard work in life, his ups and down, his sales and losses, his new stores and old stores, somehow all leading to this. Was this the end? Was this the legacy he was going to lead? Did he really fail to save everypony at the Goof Off? But then, Trilby hears it. Laughter! Real laughter! From Discord!! "What?!" Trilby says, sitting up, which somehow leads to his rainbow wig splitting and falling off his head. But his eyes were not fooling him. It was real! It was really real! As Discord claps, Trilby looks around at the wonderous sight. He watches as @Shiny Silvermoon Shiny, @Emerald Heart Emerald, @Dynamo Pad Dynamo, Silky, @Pinkie Pie, and anypony else affected by the chaotic magic is quickly returned to normal. Even the theater is looking like its former glory! With any luck, this will help snap @Wizard Titanium out her paralyzed daze. Trilby smiles as a wave of relief and joy washes over him. Looking over, he gets up and runs over to @Discord, giving him a hug. A sincere hug. He even cuddles into it. "Thank you, Discord! As soon as you started talking about Fluttershy and the rest, I always knew there was a friendly draconequus in there somewhere. And I'm a pony of my word too. I look forward to eating at Chez Discord." Picking up his microphone once more, Trilby speaks into it. "Well audience, we've been through a lot today. But now the show can go on as intended. And since this show doesn't need me anymore, I think I'll just sit back and enjoy it with my new friend, Discord. This is your now ex-judge Trilby Hatter, signing out. And remember, a trilby hat on your head will always put a smile on your face." Tossing the mic away, Trilby resigns himself to just being a simple audience member. He is ready to welcome Discord as a guest, ready to just enjoy the show for what it is, and ready to see how it all ends. No pony needs him to be commentator or judge anymore. ... ... ...Unless?...
