Forgot to post this, but I still wanted to say. I watched the new Pokemon Direct that came out today and it was incredible. For the 25th anniversary, Pokemon did not disappoint. We got an update to New Pokemon Snap and I can't wait for it to come out. I loved the original Snap back on the N64 and seeing this new game has me psyched. However, we also got two new game announcement and I lost my mind.

It turns out that we are getting a Diamond and Pearl remake on the Switch, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl. The characters in the overworld look like chibi's, but I think it's pretty neat. It gives me a sort of Animal Crossing or Link's Awakening vibe. Hoping to get more information as the months pass as this game will be out late season of this year. After that, we received a game that mentioned the Pokemon series enters a new meta. The new game, known as Pokemon Legends Arceus, looks breathtaking. In the trailer you could lunge, throw pokeballs in the open and battle other Pokemon, as well. The game sort of has that feeling of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Overall, while the game will be out early next year. The game looks pretty interesting and very promising. From what we received in this direct, I'm really looking forward to seeing what else we have in store for Pokemon. If there was any time to be a Pokemon fan, now is the time. Here's to all the trainers who are still on their adventure, or are just starting on their journeys. Here's to many more years of Pokemon!
