Hey, everypony! This is your Events Lead Dynamo Pad wanting to say that another year has come and gone for BABScon 2024. With next year being the final year for BABScon, I wanted to make a thread for those that attended to post some of their memories.

A way to look back at the fun times that were had during this year's convention.

These are all of the merchandise that I had purchased this past convention.

I didn't come up with a group name, but I was thinking along the lines of Friendship. With both of our group names, I was thinking of maybe something along the lines of "Friends/Friendship of the Night." Would something like that be okay?

As Dynamo started making his way along the path towards the door, he kept making sure that he trained his eyes to the door. Among the darkened corridor, while also keeping one hoof in front of the other. Suddenly and without warning, he winced from the slamming of the door behind him. Quickly craning his neck, he saw that the door had been closed. As to why or who had closed it, he honestly couldn't be certain. Looking around, he was met with only the darkness that surrounded him. "Uh...do you ever get the feeling that your being watched?" He said to nobody in particular. His ears fell, while he felt his skin crawl upon hearing a low, dark voice from behind him. Darting his head back, he was met with a pair of fierce, evil looking eyes.

Without a second to think or speak, Dynamo yelped and started dashing forward. Turning his neck to look away from the pair of evil eyes in the process. "W-What in Equestria is that!? Actually, I don't think I want to find out!" He shouted, while hoping that he could outrun whatever it was that was chasing him down this darkened corridor.

It looks like Star Silk and A Glass of Chocolate Milk are in a giant lead. However, it seems some pairings are trying to close the gap! :ooh:

I remember hearing the original song and it's kind of got that futuristic feeling to it. Upon hearing about this recently new remix to this theme, I can't stop listening to it. The way the beat of the song gets you to smile, to have the pep in your step as you walk. It's become a song that's really gotten stuck in my head.

It's honestly interesting seeing what ships, both canon and non canon have made their presence known! :pinkie:

I had to add that power into hitting myself with my pie. Normally I’d say I wanted to outdo my pie from last year’s pie challenge.

However, the secret? My sister added more whipped cream to the pie. As she probably thought I didn’t add enough. To which I wholeheartedly agree and it ended up much better that I could have hoped. :laugh:

Hey, everyone! It's your Events Lead, Dynamo Pad, here to wish you all a Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!

Since today is the day where the theme is about love, whether it's Friendship, Romance or anything in between. There's always one thing present in the theme of the holidays!

And that something is...Shipping! Lots and lots of shipping!

Given that there are many ships in MLP, whether it's canon in the show or even non canon ships that we love to see of characters. It's always sweet to see characters interact and let their chemistry blossom! ^_^

That's why I ask you, our lovely studio audience, to join in on the fun! :squee:

Last year, we had a chance to list your favorite ships from both the show and the fandom. However, now that we have G5, it's time to ask that question once again. :ooh:

"What is the best pairing of Hearts and Hooves Day 2024?"

Well, I'm glad you asked, dear user!

In this thread, you can submit a ship that's either canon or non canon that stands out to you as your favorite. After a week has passed, we'll collect all the ships and place them on a voting poll for everyone to cast their votes.

Once voting is complete, the top three winners will receive a badge! :pinkie:

However, only one ship per person. If there's a ship that's already been said, then there will be more opportunities for everyone to place another ship.

Always remember to have fun and to remember that there's no right or wrong in the ship of your choice. As a ship is a ship and like I always say...

Just for that, I'd like to throw my hat into the shipping ring, as well. For that, I will leave you with a ship that could possibly rival that of other ships. :blink:
