      It shows how the fandom has influenced the show, even indirectly. Since so many people love it, DHX got more and more funding, and increased quality with that funding.

      That comparison is epic. Now just imagine what they could do with a movie! (I mean a full pony movie not EqG.) I remember being amazed at the animation quality in Pokemon the First Movie as compared to the TV series.
