The duet was amazing. But the alternate ending seems quite different actually. As Twilight is going back to Crystal Prep and not transferring to CHS, if I understood it correctly. Personally, I would love to have Sunset return to Equestria. Even as an occasional character, or just seeing her around Twilight's Castle in the background doing whatever. Now i'm just thinking of large amount of episode ideas that revolve around Sunset being in Equestria. Okay I gotta stop my fanboying. I have a feeling they are leading up to a Equestria Girls spin-off series. Maybe not now or maybe never but I know for a fact it's a possibility.

It's a shame really, the sub-plot was realistic and I agree with you that this would have given Sunset a more in depth character. It would have also made more sense for her growing frustration of not understanding the magic, that she would eventually give up and not care and rather go home to where magic made sense.

I loved Big Mac's female performance/ transformation whatever you wan't to call it. I would rate it a 9 out of 10. Some people didn't like this part of the episode seeing as Big Mac isn't shown as the most masculine stallion in the whole poniverse, but I look at it like he was trying the hardest he could to please his little sister.

In 5 days it will mark the 5 year anniversary of My Little Pony : Friendship Is Magic. That is half a decade or a lustrum, however you want to say it. To my surprise, no one has brought this up. Surely I can't be the only one who has noticed, and surely can't be the only who is surprised by this accomplishment. I mean c'mon 5 Years!? A lot of cartoons and other shows would die out of popularity if they we're still even airing after such a long period of time, and surely wouldn't have such a diverse community like this. But nevertheless for the next 5 days I will post a new topic counting down to October 10 to celebrate 5 years of pony. In each topic I will ask a different question and give you my own perspective on the question. Today's Question: Has My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic made in impact on your life? If so, explain. My Little Pony has had an incredible impact on my life, it made harsh times, family loss and depression bearable and just simply brightened my day. (That was my short and sweet answer, I expect longer of course ) But even more then that the community itself is just a wonderful place, always creating new content for us fans to enjoy while we're all waiting for next week's episode, or miserably trying to survive a hiatus. I agree with you. Some people over analyze MLP and fail to remember that "It's just a cartoon designated to little girls." Quotation added because personally I think it's expanded beyond that. But back to the subject at hand, I can't even compare our world to Equestrian Girls world because of the simple fact that it looks so peaceful and of course the whole magic thing. Good questions to be asked are something on the line of "Why did the ShadowBolts not get more character development/ screen time?" And even then I won't beat my head over one small thing. And just like you, I just enjoy what I watch.

Although this movie was great, I can't understand why this version was sliced off. This duet would've been icing on the cake. Or maybe i'm just begging for more Sunset and Twilight interaction.
