I was having a pretty good day, until I heard my dad's having another medical episode.. It's fixable with relaxation and my mother helping him, but he's in a lot of pain and can't do anything.
I've been there several times. I know it might not seem like much, but if you can't do anything else, the best you can do is be there for him, to be supportive of him and what he's going through even if you can't physically be there.
Well, he's not even accessible to support him in any way.
My mom is the best person who could possibly be helping him, I'm just cleaning this house making sure it's ready to move from. That's what I can do, but it doesn't help the worry...
I know, there's nothing that can stop you from worrying until he gets better, but as long as he knows how much you care, the worry might not hurt as much. Sometimes the best way to help someone get better is to let them know you want them to get better.
