  1. What can I say? Wow! That was both amazing and emotionally charged episode I have seen yet! The music for one thing, wow, Rarity has a good sining voice. Then her fashion sense really shined in this episode. She is so stylish. When she got to the scene when she thought her friends left her, seeing her walk in the rain, and cry out for what she realized was what she needed the most, it made me cry with her. Then when she realized that her friends didn't abandon her after all, it sent chills down my side. It makes me realize that when I have friends who can do something that makes me upset, I should also be just as forgiving. Sometimes we don't always show our best, but deep down we know who we are and what we are made of. I am so grateful that I have friends like Rarity does. Makes me appreciate them more. Here is my favorite scene - I got my picture from mlp.wiki.com That is terrible, can't get a taxi anywhere. I've never been to New York, but I have heard stories like that. I've been to Chicago, but I've never had a problem there. Must be the culture there. I loved how that one taxi took notice how Rarity helped him, so he went out of his way to help her. Generosity is contagious.
  2. I'm getting a feeling that someone thought MLP should have more singing. Correct me if I am wrong, but are there more songs in this season compared to seasons 1 through 3? The best part was when Fluttershy turned into "the Incredible Hulk" because the evil villain had hurt a firefly. But, then again, Fluttershy is just my favorite pony, so I may just be a little biased on that point of view. The super-sized hairspray was funny. I still remember when my sisters would spray their hair with hair spray, very sticky stuff. I don't know if any kids would understand. Hairspray isn't something that was used as much as it was when I was a kid in the 80s. Unless the writers were looking to entertain the older adults in the audience, I think the kids would have been lost on that one.
  3. Loved the theme, how great reading books are. I love books too. However, because of my ADD, I'll start a book and then want to start a different one at the same time. There are so many books in my house and at the library that I've started but never finished. Well, except for "The Never Ending Story". I love that one so much I've read it a thousand times =^.^= Me too =^.^= Reminds me of "Joan Wilder" in "Romancing the Stone". Except their heroic rescue was more like "falling with grace". Walking in a native village "just pretend we're from Natural Geographic". Not as much heroic action as Daring Do, but it was funny. I agree. I would love it if they had made more episodes with her. Daring Do has such an interesting back story, that the story ideas would have been endless. I can see why. Not much action with the other ponies. So, if you're a fan of Daring Do or Rainbow Dash, it'll be a great episode. However, if you were hoping to see the other ponies, you might be disappointed. Twilight did a little play-on with Rainbow when reminiscing about Daring Do's stories, and that was interesting. I loved how different this episode was compared with the others. Sometimes I see myself in Rainbow Dash, when waiting for the Harry Potter books. I loved how they had Pinkie Pie paint red lines on the ground, similar to the red lines they shown on the map - very Pinkie of her. The exchanges that Twilight and Rainbow Dash had was cool, and the look the others gave them while trying to follow them was hilarious. The story line did remind me a lot of Indiana Jones. Even the evil creatures were similar to the villains in Indiana Jones: The Arch of the Covenant. Then having a scene how Daring Do really did need help was cute, too. Yes, I would give it two thumbs up. And yes, there was even a cute scene with Futtershy at the beginning. As she was flying with Rainbow Dash, holding her tail, and looking down, "Oh, Rainbow, I don't know". Cuteness to the infinity =^.^=
  4. I would have to say Spike was annoyingly funny on this one. Poor Twilight, she would have lost her #1 assistant. Great effects in the first though. AJ has some great moves. This was the episode that made me like her.
  5. If it's peppy enough for workout music, I might try. I've never heard of them before. Music helps motivate me to workout harder at the gym. So far, I like doing it to Hooked on Classics, or Souza Marches, but perhaps it's because I love classical music, and I was a trumpet player when I was in High School and College at KU. =^.^= Go Jayhawks!
  6. My favorite was in Season 3 Episode 13, the mixed up cutie mark song. It was so funny! Each one of them trying to be the other pony. =^.^=
  7. I don't care how quite her cheer is, I would love to have Fluttershy as my cheer leader. =^.^= Yey!
  8. Yes, I remember him. I watched him on Nova. He reminds me a lot like Carl Sagon. His knowledge is amazing. =^.^=
  9. I normally don't like musicals but I have to admit the music was great I totally thought Discord was behind it... Wait, he was. Just from a different time.
  10. Is Discord's voice played by John De Lancie? He sounds just like Q from Star Trek The Next Generation.
  11. I really like Twilight Sparkle. She is smart, funny, and has an infectious laugh. At times when I feel too "Fluttershy" to do something, I think of "what would Twilight Sparkle do". She is not only brave, but she has that ability to make others around her better; like LaBron James in a basketball game. Okay, so how does Twilight Sparkle get to live in a treehouse, when all the other ponies live in houses?
  12. Is Fluttershy the only pony that can talk to animals? It seems like in every episode when there are problems with animals, like those beavers that flooded Applejack's trees, she is the only one that can make them do anything. Or perhaps it is her stare. Well, except for Discord, who thought that was just funny. I would agree. Just look at those eyes, and your heart just melts. It makes me want to watch it again. =^.^=
  13. If you could visit any planet in the universe, which would it be? and why? and if you could only take one other person with you, who would it be? and why?

    Ask Vulcan

If you were stranded on some deserted island with someone for several months, who would it be and why?
  15. It did take a lot out of her in order to do this. However, she didn't do it until her back was against the wall, and her friends were threatened. Otherwise, she wouldn't have gone near one. Even Rainbow Dash tried to drag her to the Dragon Migration, but was unsuccessful. Dragons are just another critter. What makes her so afraid of them? This is such amazing artwork. Where do you get them from? I love the color contrast, it gives the images feeling. If Fluttershy was a Marvel character, her special powers would be her ability to freeze people with her stare. She just has some of the most amazing eyes. reminds me of Earnest Goes to Camp; when Earnest finds out he made a big mistake and broke the hearts of his girl friend and friends, and sings that song, "I'm so glad its training" because the rain hides his tears. Makes me want to give her a hug. I remember that episode. It was the most hilarious episode of all the show I've seen so far. Not to mention that the other ponies were just as funny (I think Pinkie Pie's song was so funny and cleaver too). My favorite part was when she laid traps for them. LOL =^.^=
  16. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: I found this forum while searching for some cute pictures of Futtershy using Google search. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: It was through a Youtube video. I was searching for some videos about Kansas City Royals (which I am a Big Fan) when I found a MLP video on "A Canterlot Wedding". After realizing how entertaining and adorable they are, I just kept watching more of them. I now find them on my Facebook and Pinterest pages. My kids also love MLP, so we watch them as a family now. My name is Jesse. I am 38 years old and married to my beautiful wife, Julia. We have three children. Savannah is my oldest, she is 14. My twin boys are Jaxson and Jaylan, who is 11. We live in a small house in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri. We moved here to be close to family. My wife is a stay-at-home mom. She helps the boys who have disabilities that require lots of patients. I go to work for a finance company; but, when I am off from work, I love taking the family up in the mountains for camping, hiking, or collecting interesting rocks. My wife must be part Rarity, she loves beautiful gems; so I try to find one for her whenever we go out. When I am alone, I play my piano. If I was a pony, my cutie mark would be a piano. I love to play all kinds of music on the piano: classical, jazz, folk, new age, or rag time. I even make up my own songs and put words to them, just for fun. I am a quite shy kind of guy. This is why I love Fluttershy; I can relate to what she does. I also learn a lot from her too. I also love animals. If I was allowed to, I would have lots of them as well. However, I'll just settle for Graystrip, my cat. Yes, my kids are into the Warrior Cat books. That's were we got the name.
