    Why am I not allowed to like dubstep or metal without being labeled a freak? Why am I not allowed to like classical music or jazz, and not be called a hipster? Why am I not allowed to like pop or hip-hop music, and not be deemed a bandwagoner? Why am I not allowed to like multiple genres of music?

    Since when was it okay to hate people based on what kind of music they like?

      I understand all too well. I get made fun ALL THE TIME for loving pop country. Like I once posted here on the forums, people who make fun of and bash other people for what music they like, are a**holes, and need to get a life.

      I've never really met the scorn that other's have faced for liking multiple types of music. I love various types of metal, ska punk, the various eras of classical music, and movie/tv/game score music....and yeah; my tastes are varied.

      Point is; love what you love. Do not let them upset you; just let the music flow through you~

      Soceity has labled people for their interests that they dont understand for generations, my guy. Just roll with the punches. My little brother is into music that’s older than my grandmother and i’m into rock, rap, hip-hop and pop, and i dont care what anyone says about my taste in music. You dont have to conform to what soceity says is an “okay” taste in music.
