      Go into Account settings. You can find this buy clicking under your username. On the right hand side there is an option called ''Other Settings''

      Go into notification settings. At the bottom there is a section called ''Notification Preferences'' Uncheck the checked box saying. ''Play Sound when I receive notification''

      Hope that helps.
