Very pleased to see that this revival is still being worked on! Totally cool with it being an audio drama as opposed to a series of full animations as I want whatever is best for you and your team!

I believe you misread Shad0w-Galaxy's comment. G5 was originally meant to go on indefinitely, meaning they likely weren't concerned with it being some big hit, they probably just saw it as a way to keep the brand active while giving them a reason to not spend time and money on future generations. They likely wanted things to be that way because of MLP's decline in popularity, but now, things have likely changed because of its resurgence in popularity in China.

Recently, someone who works on preserving Tell Your Tale (their work can be seen in the unreleased third special) and has access to insider knowledge, revealed the reason why they are so passionate about preserving G5 in addition to the true reason why it was screwed over according to inside sources. Back when we first learned of TYT's unfair cancellation, everyone, including me, someone who never bought the narrative of it being because said show and Make Your Mark were supposedly unpopular, thought the reason was due to some kind of underperformance like the G5 series not selling enough toys, the most popular belief among G5 fans as to why it happened. I was NOT expecting this to be the reported reason, Hasbro literally just getting tired and giving up...but looking at how TYT has always been well-viewed and is still being watched (the official TYT channel surpassed 50 million views nearly two months ago) as well as how an official discontinuation of the G5 toy line has yet to be announced with an interest in G5 merchandise still being maintained, it makes sense. This is happening when G4 has always been more popular and we've not had any official G5 content in six months. Everything points to the saying, "G5 didn't fail Hasbro, Hasbro failed G5.", being true.

Um...all of them. No, I'm being serious, the soundtrack for G5 really is awesome to me and there's no song from it I dislike. Magic in Us, I absolutely agree with many that it's one of the best songs, but my all-time favorite is With a Little Creativity.

No...but there are some episodes of FiM I'm looking back at now and feeling I was too charitable towards, even as I like to find good in every episode. Non-Compete Clause, Yakity-Sax, and Father Knows Beast are always the first episodes my mind goes to when I'm thinking of episodes I no longer feel a drive to hand a pity card. Non-Compete Clause didn't have to make Rainbow Dash and Applejack so obnoxious, Yakity-Sax has by far the most muddled moral and the worst writing of Pinkie Pie out of any episode of the show, and Father Knows Beast gave us one of the worst characters of the show, someone who abuses Spike and gets no comeuppance, so that Spike can not get background development. And even though I used to like Fame and Misfortune and Dragon Dropped, episodes that were well-received when they were new...those episodes did not age well to me. I realize now that Fame and Misfortune's plot made absolutely no sense and Dragon Dropped's portrayal of Rarity...just makes me feel uncomfortable now. On the positive side, Fluttershy Leans In is no longer my least favorite episode and I appreciate Rainbow Roadtrip more now. Both are still obviously flawed and I still agree with most of my criticisms of them, but they don't fill me with any kind of negative emotion when I think about them anymore.
