    As good as this episode was, for someone that is near their 40th, I've seen and read this kind of stories/episodes before, and pretty much I can see (from a mile away and experience), what's going to happen. Trust me, that will most likely happening.

    This episode to me, opened the door (more so than ever) for interspecies relationships to occur.in the show. I mean one of the messages (among the two given) was that it shouldn't matter what species (race), ethic, or cultural background you come from, that if you truly care (Love) someone, or in this case , somepony/someyak, for who they really are, then that's all that should matter. And the symbolism of the shooting star in the background, kind of, if not teases the fact that something "MORE" will happen between these two later on. This also opens the door for other interspecies relationships to happen, like let's say, Spike and Rarity, which by now (IMO) has been all, but officially confirmed. Don't believe me, check out "Best Gift Ever" and when Spike sings to Rarity, she gets stars/sparks in her eyes (better ex./compassion, the "Lady and The Tramp spaghetti scene) So yeah this episode imho opened, if not KNOCKED the door down for this to happen. Your Thoughts?

    I believe as we approach towards the actual end, that is when the moments we hope for & want to see become official will occur. From ships cannoned in the show (RarityxSpike,,FluttershyxDiscord, etc,,) to Twilight's ascent , and other loose ends & questions tied up and answered, from just the clue/quote we get from the show staff, is "can't say what maybe or maybe not forthcoming..", along with their legit "NDA" reasoning, to fans like myself, it speaks volumes, and indicates they know 'something' will happen, like let's say with Spike and Rarity. Just those answers from the show staff, (writers, VA's), is the MAJOR and most OBVIOUS Clue/hint that moments we've been waiting to see and wanting to happen, will indeed occur, along with other questions will that still need answers too. #mlpseason9 #MLPFIM #SaturdayThoughts
