The 0nly 4 things that some took issue with this special, but not enough to ruin the overall enjoyment, were: 1. The Airdate of the debut, which was (at the time) 4 days from Halloween. But when you think about it, it's really no different, because when you look at Hallmark Channel, they were doing Christmas Movies ever weekend recently to get ready for their Countdown To Christmas Deal, that started a day before this special debut. Also, retail stores already were getting ready for Christmas, around the same time they were getting ready for Halloween. So it may be unusual to some, but it's not really out of the ordinary. 2. Was the whole Sub-plot of Sparity, mostly Spike wanting to get a gift for Rarity, and when he finds out he didn't get her, the lengths he goes to, to get her, even going as far as a quick talking/smooth talking Fluttershy into a trade (because she just happens to have Rarity, and Spike has RD), is one things fans didn't like. But as I said before, Fluttershy being herself, wouldn't have minded (even if she found out about it later, off-screen), and if made Spike happy, that's all that really would mattered to her. 3. And speaking of Fluttershy, folks didn't like the way, that it seemed she had regressed back to earlier season Fluttershy, with how gullible she has to Film and Flam's con, or oblivious to Spike Trick switching her (which I talked about above this), but that seem to all be redeemed at the end with her saving the day, by taming the Winter-Zilla. And 4th. The whole situation with Mable Pie being heartbroken/sadden that Big Mac found somepony in Sugar Belle (this of course was during the opening montage song), but this seem to be quickly shrugged off later on in the special. But yet some fan didn't like that moment at the start. However, as I said, despite these just some of the small nitpicks fans had with this special, from what it sounds like, it didn't ruin their overall enjoyment of the Special. But what do you all think?

Question: If an over the air network was to broadcast this in late November and sometime in December , who do you think would be the better choice out of these 6 : CBS NBC ABC FOX THE CW MyNetworkTV My choice would be NBC! I think it's feel like the right fit to air this over the air. But what about you all?

It can be, it just depends on who the writer/writers are, and how much time they are given, and it may seem that they had enough time to put lots of love and effort into this. When you think of it, it feels like a bit of love letter to the adult fans, with it's references and a certain ship that was of the main focuses here. Yeah it can still prove why it became the phenomenal it is today.

This really put me in the Christmas Mood, and Halloween is only 4 days away. Looking more towards Christmas thanks to this special! JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!! And if any doubted Sparity still existing, this proves it's STRONGER THAN EVER! And as far as it debuting in October, hey Hallmark Channel's already started it's Christmas Movie season, better to get a head start! 100/100 on animation, character development, and songs!, but most 100/100 on SPARITY BEING CANON AND OFFICIAL!

I mean, honestly,the question I (along with other fans) have is, "What's the Difference?" Now, one could point out, that Applejack and Starlight wouldn't use any feminine charm on Spike and would be the kind of characters that would except him for who he is, and be down to earth with him. But I think Trent Osborne (Fellow Fan and Youtuber) said it best in the comments, (which for some odd reason were removed from audio/video on this): Now, he did go on to add more, but again those comments are were removed for some reason. But the overall take from those comments are, just because the show staff has yet to REALLY address this, and with the potential that S9 could be it, we (more than likely) will get the resolution there, and from some odd reason, (just a gut feeling I have), I feel that they will have an episode where Rarity x Spike officially become an item, however it will be done in a very subtle way, in other words, we'll see it happen, but come the following episode, it will be it didn't happen, but we (as fans and viewers) will know it did (I mean when watch the show, the episodes, while remaining in the seasonal timeline/continuity , don't always acknowledge moments from pervious episodes in that season, unless it's a two-parter or necessary , like in "Horse Play"). But despite that, again I ask , "What's The Big Difference"? Because if you're going by age difference, same applies to AJ and Starlight. And also, let's look at it this way, if they wanted to put this Sparity to bed, they would have done so a long time ago, but as you can see from this recent season, it's still as strong as ever. Also, remember this, Lauren Faust wanted to use Spike as our eyes/POV to see how beautiful Rarity was/is, I'm sure she didn't expect this whole Sparity thing to come from it, but yet here we are. Mine thoughts (IMO Probably Best and Most Likely Scenario) are: Since It's hinted and spoiled, that AJ Got Pinkie, Pinkie got Twilight, and RD got Flutters, here's the rest of who I believe got who: Rarity Got Spike, Spike Got Rainbow, Flutters Got Rarity, & Twilight Got AJ. It makes the most likely direction they will go in with Holiday/Christmas Special. Agree or Disagree. God Bless!

This is my estimation as to When Season 9 will debut, go on Mid-Hitaus, and Finish Up. Dates are: March 16-April 6th, 2019 (Debut) June 5th-`19th, 2019 (Mid-Hitaus) August 17th-31st, 2019 (Return from Mid-Hitaus) October 5th-19th, 2019 (Season (Series?) I wonder if this is the start of something that comes after G4 is done, like we have 44min-1hr mini-movies or 90min direct-to-dvd/bluray movies with one shot stories that continue G4, by having stories that focus on issues like AJ's parents, Spike's origin, or whatever plot holes (left open) or questions fans want finally answered, actually happening. Makes you wonder? What your thoughts?

1. Well if she knew how to suck the magic up, then possibly she may have had counter-spell to bring it back, but only if she was named empress. Then again, her plan seem set on ponies needing support, and she would use that to her advangte to gain more friends, thus in her mind, more friends = more power = her becoming Empress. 2. She may have been affected too in someway. 3. That was being written during Season 6 (most likely), the writers probably didn't know about the School of Friendship being a thing , till at least 2nd half of season 6, very early portion of season 7. 4. I will say that, for the way Cozy Glow acted, (No offense), but there's this part of me, that thinks she's older than she looks, in fact, when we piece together some parts of the finale, it makes you wonder. I mean, like how did Starswirl know how the spell would work, and how did Cozy Glow know how to cast it (even with Tirek's help). I think Starswirl knows who Cozy Glow is, because Cozy May have been his very first student from over 1'000 years ago, even before taking Celestia and Luna under his teachings Hear me out, I believe, she maybe a full grown Pegasus trapped in a filly's body, due to a spell that she was planning to use on all of Equestria, and it backfired on her, when StarSwirl and the other pillars came to stop her, the backfire spell turned her into a filly for as long as it must, till the spell is reversed to change her back. But that's just a theory, that may have more truth than you think to it. 5. Yes they could have, but Luna stated that "Even raising the moon has become difficult", So perhaps the same could be said for Celestia, and they didn't want to risk anything more happening. 6. That there is the $1billion dollar question. (That hopefully gets answered next season in the premiere) 7. Many have speculated (and probably on the nose about it), that that too was part of Cozy's plan (or at least a backup plan) just in case her original plan backfired on her. Hope that helps.

Overall the finale was pretty decent. There were some funny moments, from Starlight's sarcasm, to Rarity's "Woah", there were very light-hearted moments. Also, it was nice to see Cadance there at the meeting as well.And I will say, that things really picked up in the 2nd and 3rd act of Part 1 and really picked up in the 2nd part. As far as Cozy Glow goes, as a villain, she was exactly what was needed. A villain, that even in the moment was able to stay one step ahead, except when she disrespected the Tree of Harmony.Now as far as punishment, Some may agree with it and some will not. But let's be honest, yes Starlight and Tempest did things that deserve a sentience to Pony Alcatraz. But question, did they attempt murder on several occasions and not give a darn, some will say "yes" and that's fine. But were they willing to give friendship a second chance. The answer is yes. Especially when you understood their backstories. But what about Cozy? Well let's see, she mocked what the elements were about, was going to let the Young Six and Starlight die, heck she was already technically killing Starlight by having her kept in that orb, tricked the Mane 6 and Spike into traveling into Tatruas and trapping them there., Drained all the Magic from Equestria, then try to escape to another school to continue her plan, and through all that, not once did she give a flying F*** about anyone but herself. So yeah, I'd say she got what she deserved in the end. Overall, again as I said, a pretty decent finale. What you say?

When you think about it, it kinda is, with Season 7 coming out onto DVD on the 9th, the Season 8 finale airing (officially in the US) on the 13th, and the speical edition 2-Movie/4-Disc 35th Anniversary Edition Combo Pack releasing on the 16th, yeah it kinda is. Comments are Welcomed

As far as the episode goes, like I said, Highly Recommended. I mean everyone played a great role. AppleJack's reaction to Autumn Blaze and her personality was great, especially when Fluttershy was surprised Blaze talked and AJ's response was "You have Nooo Idea", I thought was overall a great moment. The animation was very fluid and beautiful to look at. Especially the design of the Kirin. Their designs made each stand out. You can defineinitly tell that AllSpark Animation had a hand in the animation here (those that worked on the movie that is). Overall it's one of the best eps of the season, if not the series. For me it has almost a Disney Renaissance vibe to it, I think that's due to the Song Blaze sings, the way it's presented, just has the classic Disney Renaissance feel to it. I hope Hasbro/Allspark/DHX convinced Rachel Bloom to reprise her role as Autumn Blaze next season. Because I already have a idea of how she could return. Have her come to Ponyville to visit AJ and FS, have her meet the rest of Mane 6 and Starlight, and of course Spike, and when she sees Spike and He sees her, well let's just say, ya all want him to get over Rarity, Right? But yeah, I hope she comes back in S9. 10/10 OVERALL!

Good Ep. But what they should done, is when Twilight finds out that her parents don't know what contest they won to get the cruise, she (possibly along with Cadance) should've started to do some investigating to find out what was really going on, especially when ponies start to suddenly surround them a bit later. I mean you could still have Twilight agree to the terms with Iron Will, but use it as a cover to allow her family to investigated, to try and find evidence to expose Iron's true intention to the rest of the ponies on the cruise. I mean you could even Star Tracker help out if you like. But beside those slight changes (they should've made/I've would have made), overall it was a good ep. (even with it's slight jab at the fans)

With the recent trailer showing and hinting that (with their version of Secret Santa being done among the Mane 6 and Spike) To me, this makes the most sense for the direction they are going with for this special. But hey, If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Although I think I may be on the button or close to it. But what do you think?
