...there is a little bit of an unnatural swish to that. But I would chalk that up to the medium.

 No, I'd say its definitely longer & thicker. Thing is with Lyra is that her mane/tail is a sort of half&half so think her tail gets stretched a bit thick to fit them both in. Making it full black like you did only makes it look denser. Those first three photos of yourself definately seems to fit into "Male, long-style" as opposed to what most could refer to as a sort of expectation as womenfolk being accustomed to longer hairstyles.

  Though I am anything but against the idea of a fluffy stallion! I would say your "stallion tail" isn't hardly big enough to qualify! Go bigger even! Like fully capable of enveloping yourself in, squirrel-style!

@Widdershins Well, the only reason why I gave him a black mane / tail is because that's my hair colour IRL  

(I wanted to base him on me ) ...and when you're making an OC with a black mane/ tail, of course it's gonna look more denser because it's covering up all the lines  

Well, I wanted to give my OC a wavvy-look in his mane/ tail design. I tried to design one for myself, but it didnt turn out so well  this was my first attempt:

Ironically, Rainbow Dash had the look I was after and I simply went with that with my OC

Oh?  I didnt realise my tail was THAT big until I played Legends Of Equestria

Hmm  a squirrel tail, eh?  that doesnt sound like a bad idea  I might use that in my next OC design :3

Actually, I bumped into a youtube called Green Bean and it just so happened that he recording at the time, so that's why you can see my OC in that footage. I mean, I played for 60 hours straight during that open server weekend
