      I'm not sure if 'mana' is the good term there; it's not really Twilight's parameter.

      That energy bar is connected to the elements/spells themselves, rather than Twilight. Think of guns; Each element has its own energy, so putting that below life could be kinda confusing, unless I'd put the elements (icons) there as well. However, in the image above you can see only three icons and it already takes a lot of space, so imagine how it will look like when getting the rest. It think it won't simply fit there; the upper left corner would be clogged. There's a bigger gif at the end of the blog entry I linked up here, so you can take a look to get a better view on how things work.

      What I could try though, would be to lower the status and put the energy bar along with icons above that. I could wrap up a preview of what I have on mind once I would get back home.

       

      Oh and the later upgrades of that element will make it even more awesome. :mlp_smug:

      Ah, I didn't realize that the elements were kind of like swappable, equippable weapons, each with their own ammo count---probably what you have now makes more sense!

      Question:  will all the elements function as attacks, or will some have other utilities, e.g. a higher jump or a super-fast run?

      All elements will function as spells and now that you mentioned that kind of utilities, there will be some, but as separate things. I won't go into details too much, as I kinda don't want to spoil things (stuff will go fancy, but *shush*! :D ) .

      By an occasion and that being said, I'll tone down with updates from now on. I will be sharing some general things; avoiding the ones, that players are supposed to discover in later stages. If I'd be sharing everything I'm working on, I'd basically spoil the whole game, heh. Too bad I spoil it for myself, but well, 'sux' to be the one working on it! :derp:
