Woo, that surely required lots ot confidence 👀 Did people enjoy it in the end? I may be wrong, but from what I've noticed, people mostly criticize these movies for not being about ponies, which is understandable. They watched first seasons with ponies, and suddenly introducing a more real, less magical world with high school human students to the ponyverse could be seen as an unexpected, and unwelcomed change. Many simple refuse to accept humans' appearance as canon, and that's partially why Equestria Girls are disliked. Besides, it's a completely different - I guess even more girly than FiM - setting, so it's just not something fans expected, and maybe they saw it as a missed opportunity to have a legit movie with ponies instead. I like these series, but I admit my view might be biased, because Equestria Girls is what I watched first, so I didn't have any expectations. I probably wouldn't end up watching FiM, thus being here, if not these movies.

That's cool indeed! Epic! Now I'm curious, did you actually perform it in its full glory around people? Did you do it alone or with friends? How did it go? I think yes, the first movie is nostalgic to me, I watched it like 20 times and I'd rewatch it again. The second one, Rainbow Rocks, is also my favorite, watched it like 20 times as well. The next movies unfortunately felt like there's something missing, for some reason they didn't have that charm for me. Friendship Games is my least favorite. I liked the action at the end, but I'm not a fan of the rather dark setting through the entire movie. Ah songs from Rainbow Rocks, I saw that coming. Fair, fair, all songs there are awesome As for mine, I think my favorite song is Shine Like Rainbows, from Rainbow Rocks credits at the end. And of course that Cafeteria song, the very first MLP song that hooked me.

2015 is actually the year I started my pony adventure too, well technically I began with first Equestria Girls in 2013 or 2014 (can't quite remember) when it was aired on TV, but I didn't make much of it at that time. It came back at me in 2015, rewatched it multiple times, then got into FiM. It's all because of the Cafeteria song! It randomly came back to my mind, so I decided to rewatch the movie. Considering all movies, what's your favorite Equestria Girls song(s)? 👀

It's not a common problem, but rarely, users mention, that the editor refuses to convert a link into a video embed when trying to share YouTube videos. Unfortunately, by default, when the editor refuses to cooperate like this, there aren't really any ways to work around it and force it to turn links into embedded videos. So as an experiment, I have programmed my first, little actual plugin where I can use JavaScript, that hopefully should help with that. I have added a button to the editor's toolbar between "code" and "spoiler" buttons: Clicking this button will ask for a YouTube video link. When a valid link is provided, it should directly insert the embedded video into the post. It is currently available only on small (phone) and medium (tablet) displays, as that's where I believe this problem likes to happen, depending on device and browser. I suspect this issue doesn't happen on PC's, or at least not as often, so for the time being I haven't added that button on large displays, unless users will wish to have it there too. One thing to note though: The video link should contain the video's ID, consisting of 11 characters. That's the only information it has to extract from the link for it to work. YouTube tends to give links with different formats (like some "youtu.be" stuff), but I used a regular expression to hopefully capture that ID from all of them. If at any point anyone gets an error, despite providing a seemingly valid link, please poke me or simply reply here, so that I can adjust the code. Let me know if it's helpful or not!

And here I've been wondering if it would be a good idea to make it send notifications to literally everyone, saying who unfriended who to make the entire community be like for doing illegal actions towards the magic of friendship. jk Not a fan of that either, comparing it to adding someone to ignore list is accurate. It should be gone, I have disabled, and removed these notifications from the settings.
