I don't have "an internet blocker" I do however use Comodo Secure DNS Which is meant for preventing me from connecting to a malicious website. It is very good at doing its job, however, some trolls reported Equestriadaily and now it's being blocked. Easy to bypass, but a nuisance nonetheless. Example of the way it works:

I figured I'd post my virtual machine's desktop plus an updated version of mine. So here you go. I tried moving the taskbar to the right, and it really is awesome. I recommend trying it. My updated host machine: My virtual machine:
