@Illiad Easle (Oh really?) Cali's eyes turned from a scowl to more of a sadder look. With a sort of twirling motion the scythe vanished. "I was already planning on building a portal with Blu. I wasn't willing to throw our plan and friendship away, but he was the one to do just that." Cali said with more of an enraged expression on her face as her eyes met Twilight. "You couldn't even begin to understand the prices I've paid..." she said as a red gem was summoned in the air and dropped in her hand. Cali held out her hand. "All for this. I never understood it." Cali said as she took a seat. "I don't know where it came from or who build it. But I found it in the bottom of this lake..." the dream changed to them sitting on a bench seat together at a small lake. Twilight could see houses and docks about, boats and people about this lake. The construction of the houses themselves she was unfamiliar with. "This is my home, Twilight. Welcome to Black Lake." Cali looked on the surface of the lake. It was black just like she had said. "When you absorb the power of something that grants you all this power, you lose everything you had previously. For a long long time I've hidden what I truly wanted with my powers. My powers aren't worth anything to me anymore. It's second nature to me. Long since lost its flare. They are the source of my pain, yet also of my grandest dreams." Cali skipped a rock across the lake. 6 times. 6 times she managed. "It has been years, decades even. I have lost track of who I am. I have lost track of how old I even am. I found that gem when I was...16 or 17...I like to believe I am 24 now but, its been far longer since then. I don't know exactly how I started traveling into other worlds and dimensions. Yet in doing so, I trapped myself unwillingly. I can gather up my power..." Cali said with an arm motion, a hazy vague shape of a red portal appearing in front of them like a doorway. "To go into other worlds, a one way trip at the cost of all that I have for quite some time...and not knowing where I'd end up. I was so foolish!" Cali scolded herself. "When you are granted with this power, it gives you all you want but in the end you are never satisfied with anything. You lose your old life for a new blank slate thats entirely up to you and you have no guide or anyone to teach you about your own power." Cali frowned. "I had a friend once. A true friend. Thats part of the reason why I wanted to create a portal...this will sound really strange to you Twilight....I wanted to find her again. We got separated when the dimensional beacon we created along with others went wrong and we were flung across all points in reality. It's impossible to find them again." Cali said before sighing a long sigh. "To be entirely honest I just want to...settle down in your world, Twilight. Your world doesn't have what mine has. Wars. Politics. Death over the simplest things..." Cali summoned a globe in her hand. On it was the spheres of influence between the United States, Imperial Japan, and Greater Germany. The eagle, the rising sun, and the iron cross marked over the respective areas. She set the globe in Twilight's lap for her to over-look. "Due to...my homeworld's nations...millions have died in the pursuit of territory. Wealth. Power...over all else when not realizing that every war was fought, humanity was closer to extinction." Cali shuddered as a sort of TV like screen appeared near them, and on it in a thick German accent, the first atomic bomb was tested in the Kongo desert. Such an explosion Twilight hadn't seen before. "We stockpiled hundreds, thousands of these bombs in what is called an arms race. It was a careful balance, and tipping it would mean these bombs would be launched on rockets and my world would be destroyed in a nuclear hellfire. All because of some damned territory in the colonies or proxy wars!" Cali scowled in disgust. "Truth be told in my world, there is no magic. Only nature...the human mind and it's wonderful dreams, but yet it's most horrible nightmares. Humans can be as loving as ponies are, and our destructive side is as destructive as our love is for those we truly care about." Cali sighed with a defeated look on her face as she looked to Twilight in utter shame.

I am thinking at how cute Coco Pommel is.

@Lazy Ferret Maud layed beside Ripple and seemed to smile ever so slightly. "What sort of paperwork did you do?" she asked in an almost soothing way. Ripple could smell the soap that Maud used, it was fresh.

@Lazy Ferret Maud eventually got out of the bath with a towel wrapped around herself and her mane. She smelled clean and fresh. "Your back." says Maud as she sat down next to Ripple, on the bed. She looked into Ripple's eyes.

@Blitz Boom Magnolia had listened to what Scarcity had said there. She was intrigued but also quite concerned for her and Zeehva's wellbeing here. She proceeded to listen until Scarcity had finished talking and looked at the box. "I wonder whats in the box there..." Magnolia sighed before seeming to compose herself. "I don't want anything to do with anyone else. I want to leave. I don't know you, I don't trust you." Magnolia had shot a glare into Scarcity's eyes, one that was more intense then before. However Magnolia had realized that if she were to do anything here she would more than likely be outgunned and defeated near instantly thanks to that guard that was near to them. "You probably have sent ponies away to be tortured. I don't want anything to do with you. Leave me alone." she said to Scarcity before turning to Zeehva. Zeehva could tell that she really didn't want anything to do with this place or environment. Nor did she seem interested in 'utilizing' magic. She was fine with doing that on her own and seemed quite on edge as if she were cornered. She felt quite uncomfortable in all honesty, being so vulnerable here. However Scarcity did say something about the history of the amulet that Magnolia had. "W-well I uh, would like to know what you were going to say about this thing though..." she said seeming more nervous if anything. Something about Scarcity was something she really hated, yet the look in her eyes was also...lovely? It was hard to decide how to feel here. Magnolia were quite conflicted after all at this moment. Scarcity's reasoning was interesting, as it were also horrifying at the same time. Yet she didn't know what to say to that at the same time. It had been long since she had even held a conversation with others. And that much were obvious. ============================================================================== @Kujamih @Blitz Boom @Windy Breeze Cali looked to Light in annoyance and then to Molotov with more of an offended look. She crossed her arms further. "You know what, I'm done. Leave me alone." she said to Light in a dismissive tone. She hadn't come here to bicker with anyone. Then she looked to Molotov. "I have no intentions of getting involved with...whatever you are doing here. I might leave if this...Light here keeps his bickering up with me." she scowled.

@Lazy Ferret Maud was relaxing in the bath tub there. It was very warm and she was treating herself to relaxation after studying her book. She heard Ripple come back and she could see the bathroom light on.

I am feeling great since I have today off.

@Illiad Easle Cali got up from the ground and had noted upon how the dream had changed. She looked to her human form, more or less slightly bewildered by what she had been seeing. She took a step back and summoned a large scythe in her hand. "...I gave him access to an ancient library that I had located...it has all knowledge of spells that surpasses the knowledge of most Unicorns on this planet. I was generous enough to let him in and let him take a look around...study what he had wanted. He preferred rune and shadow magic...I seemed to take it too quickly in trusting him." she slammed the scythe's staff on the ground to make the dream shake to emphasize her point. "Yet I also made the grave mistake in not learning all I could in my time here. I was far too focused on my own...adrenaline rushes." Cali spat and turned away. "Trust only sets you up for loss. No attachment or trust. No loss. No pain. Especially when you trust someone with everything and then they... stab you in the back." she would proceed to charge at Twilight and then would strike her with the scythe...before stopping just before the scythe would hit Twilight's arm. "How do I know you are any different, from that? I could make this a living hell for you if I so wished. But I am not that kind of person...unless if it is...Blu are talking about..." her eyes would pierce Twilight's soul with rage, although it were not directed at her. "We had planned to hold you against your map table. To use your energy as a fuel source for a portal, to research other dimensions. I gave him special glasses that allow him to see into the future, provided that he powers them up with raw magic that is." she sat down, as if defeated. "You think love or friendship will fix this? Think again. This is an act that cannot be forgotten or forgiven." Cali spat. "Everyone has a plan, an agenda. Sometimes that is throwing others to the side should they prove...an obstacle to their personal success." Cali shook her head.

Neither will Cali. She is aware of his anti-magic creation. Maybe she'll find a way to counter that...hehe.

@Lazy Ferret "I shall stay here and relax, then. I will wait for you then." Maud had stated and pulled out a sort of encyclopedia about the various types of rocks and geological features. She wanted to brush up her memory a little bit on that.

@Loud Opinion Magnolia snorted to his response and thought about it. She wasn't exactly sure of what to make of it. "How can I be holding anyone for ransom, if I don't even know what is going on?" she asked with an almost disgusted face and proceeded to slash the stallion's leg as he had requested. She watched the blood drip with a cold yet also, disturbed expression. "If Limbo's life is on the line, then spill it out for me and remove the gobbly gook from your language. It seems as if you don't even care about her by not telling me the truth." Magnolia spoke as if offended by that, which she quite was. But yet she seemed to stop there, and thought about what she had said about the Watchmen. "The ponies of this land are too weak for their own good. They need someone strong to destroy the evils of the land...to destroy those who..." she almost had a pained expression on her face as she said the following words, "W-who are innocent and do nothing wrong...while those who do great evil are ignored." she spat with disgust. It was those bandits who stole her town and ransacked the place after she was abandoned by her parents after all. She would find them and make them pay for that. No mercy. "They will pay! All of them! I'll show them...w-what it means to lose something you care about!" she stomped her hoof to emphasize her point. Revenge. Destruction. Justice. She smirked slyly upon the understanding of the words he said. "You look for ponies that...relate to some unforeseen affinity, then with that, you instruct them...now then, let's do what you had told me...this better not be a trick." she warned and went outside, opening the door and approached the 'grave' she had dug.

@Loud Opinion Magnolia's eyes seemed to stare into his soul as if searching for the truth. Then she simply raised an eyebrow at such a...request. She stood there silently, and then seemed to march up to him like a soldier. Her eyes looked deep into his soul as she backed him into a corner. "Your going to tell me exactly what I need to know. This is so odd, and cryptic. Can't you just give me a straight answer? Your name is Silver Tongue. You are slick and sly, but when things get dry, you won't even have a tongue." Magnolia warned as if slightly angered by the requests. She didn't want to hurt this pony, oddly enough. More like scaring him to get answers. If she hurt him bad enough, she wouldn't have any answers...and she wasn't one to kill unless if she really need to. Unless if it were monsters, of course. "It seems as though you expect me to play a role for you. Using all these terms...wording...it's as if you have a plan for me. Well then." she backed up and from the shadows a long dark blade was summoned. Now, she could easily do much more damage and even kill him if she really wanted to. But yet she did not strike. "I am not resting in a grave. If I am going to be....taken...to wherever they are then answer my question from before..." she'd look at his leg and then her glare softened ever so slightly. "I never had anyone...let alone request me to do something like that...rarely I am one to hesitate, however, are you sure that is what you want from me?" she spoke, quite...un-nerved by the situation.

@Lazy Ferret "Meet up downstairs, hmm?" Maud asked as if confused. She proceeded to finish off her coffee before putting her own mug into the sink as well. Then she took a sip out of the faucet to wash it down.

@Lazy Ferret Maud relaxed a bit at the question. "I don't have much, besides a few bags at the other hotel I was in. I was basically finishing up my rock studies here." she said before stretching. Her gorgeous body in display for her to see.

Wasn't exactly an outcast but I felt like it. I hung out with the nerds, but not the cringy or nerdiest ones. I also hung out with the hunting and weirdo clique too.

@Lazy Ferret Maud nodded. "I am sure that your manager is able to handle it. As you are a good instructor." Maud said in a complimenting way, yet still monotone. She stretched a bit, looking out the window.

@Kujamih "You don't know that for sure. It is a big world here with lots of individuals that could have done anything in the past. But either way, its already 'contaminated' according to your belief and there's nothing that we can do about it. Oh well." she didn't seem interested in the idea.

@Lazy Ferret Maud sat closer to Ripple as she spoke. "I don't really like those things either. So we will get along just fine." said Maud, she was never one for cities, parties or big things in general.

“Our presence here already is altering this place. We are not meant to be here but, I am fine with staying here for now. I believe that you yourself are also contaminanting according to your definition. Most materials exist in all places. This phone contains gold, lead, copper, aluminum and plastic which obviously exists here. Everything has molecules and atoms and if it doesn’t exist here then the molecules can be rearranged to create it.” Cali said to him.

@Lazy Ferret "Then that is exactly what makes it better. It is not in the crowded and infested areas of the city." she said and slowly patted the seat next to her as if calling for Ripple to sit down next to her.

@Kujamih @Blitz Boom @Windy Breeze Cali put her hands behind her back. "Tell me what you mean about...contamination. If you mean by presence, then this reality is already contaminated." she said in an observing tone.
