      No, my bro has a type of autism so I don't think it's criticizing....Unless they mean it as a way to bully the person.

       

      It can be taken two ways: Either you're saying it as factual that the person is autistic, or you're bullying them by saying they're autistic even if they're not.

       

      It can be very hard to find out the difference, but all I say is look at how they're writing it and who it might be addressed to.

      That's really sad, kind of like when being gay was a huger thing than it was today and how bad it got (and still might happen in some places). That's why I try to avoid any mis-hearings about this kind of stuff, and I believe we should all be equal by not using sexuality or disabilities as a 'bad' thing to make others feel intimidated 'cause eventually the word will mean nothing and just be ignored (which will lead to another word/disability being used for bullying).
