A big romance plot device that often happens in fiction is that 2 characters who have been friends since childhood end up developing romantic feelings for each other as either teenagers or adults. But however in real life, that rarely seems to be the case. People who been friends with someone since childhood will most likely think of them as a sibling figure rather than a mate. So I think that TV shows and movies and books and comic books and video games need to stop having "a pair of characters that have been friends with each other since childhood who then end up becoming more than friends later in their lives" happening as much as it does, since that seems like a rare thing in real life. Also that whole idea is very cliched too, so that's another reason why that idea needs to stop happening as much as it does.

When the creator of Ren & Stimpy "John Kricfalusi" (who's a sick creep) got fired and got his company "Spumco" shut down by Nickelodeon, the company "Games Animation" took over to produce more Ren & Stimpy episodes. However many fans didn't think season 3 and 4 and 5 (which were produced by Games Animations) was near as good as season 1 and 2 (which was produced by Spumco) were. However I actually think that the episodes produced by Games Animation were about as good as the episodes produced by Spumco were. I also think that the Games Animation episodes are way better than the episodes of Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" (which was made by John Kricfalusi and produced by Spumco) were. Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon" has to be one of the worst cartoons I have ever seen.

general Which would you rather have: an fraternal twin or an identical twin?

To many people (including me), that would be one of the best things about having an identical twin. -

For me, I would rather have an identical twin, since I think the idea of having a sibling who almost looks like a mirror image of you is cool. -
But still aren't people not attracted to those they grew up with, as an evolutionary safety mechanism to prevent a lack of genetic diversity? Have you ever heard of the "Westermarck effect"? Here's the tropes page that is about the Westermarck effect: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/LikeBrotherAndSisterHere's some sentences from the "real life" section of the tropes page that I linked:"A particularly nasty example of this trope occurred in 16th century France. At the time, marriages among royalty were arranged, and some of the unions were less than joyous. As a result, someone got the bright idea that if the young princes were raised with their respective fiancées from an early age, they would become accustomed to one another and grow up to form stable marriages. Unfortunately, since the couples weren't too closely related by blood or adoption, no one counted on the Westermarck effect described above. Thus, when it came time for the couples to grow up and get married, they saw each other as this trope, and the process of trying to produce heirs squicked them so much that they did so as little as possible, if at all. The nasty part comes in when, due to lack of heirs, the ruling Valois dynasty died out, and the resultant Succession Crisis led to civil war."

Still I have asked a lot of people on the internet, and they agreed with me about that statement of older brothers being way more protective of their younger sisters than younger brothers are of their older sisters when it comes to dating. Also often in TV shows and movies, when a younger sister starts dating, her older brother starts getting overprotective. But in TV shows and movies, when a older sister starts dating, her younger brother doesn't usually care.

I am pretty sure the last part about "younger brothers that get suspicious of their big sister’s boyfriends" is something that doesn't happen often much though. All the younger brothers that I knew who had older sisters (who were dating), didn't seemed to care that much about them having a boyfriend. All the older brothers that I knew who had younger sisters (who were dating) on the other hand, seemed to worry a lot about them having a boyfriend.

Anyone Notice Tara Strong Is Very Political?
AlicornSpell replied to GXPBlast's topic in General Discussion
I very much agree with you. I have seen people (I'm not one of them) on the internet referred to her as "Tarda Strong" instead of Tara Strong because of her making a fool of herself on Twitter. I have a idea. If some famous person (like Tara Strong) is completely obsessed with a politician (like Donald Trump), and they keep doing nothing but bashing the politician over and over again, then I think people should start drawing pictures of the famous person and the politician (that the famous person hates) making out with each other, and then the drawings should be posted on the famous person's Twitter account for them to see. So I think that someone should draw a picture of Tara Strong making out with Donald Trump, and then they should post it to her Twitter account for her to see. I do hate Donald Trump, but I don't keep constantly bashing him over and over again like how these famous people do on their Twitter accounts. These famous people say the same stuff everyday about him on their Twitter accounts, so it's impossible to follow them on Twitter as a result. -
I can't follow Tara Strong on Twitter, due to her always Tweeting and talking about Donald Trump and other stuff involving politics, and due to her coming off very arrogant all the time, and her views are very hypocritical. Like one of the reasons why Tara Strong supposedly hates Donald Trump is because of him being misogynistic and how he treated women in the past. But Tara Strong was willing to show respect to Hugh Hefner (the Playboy guy) after he died (when in fact he was very misogynistic himself and treated many women bad in his life). That just shows that the real reason why Tara Strong hates on Donald Trump so much is just because that's the trend that celebrities and famous people are doing right now. I hate Donald Trump myself (because of him being racist and misogynistic and other things), but I hate all people who are like that. Also Tara Strong will instinctually believe any bad news about Donald Trump that she sees on Twitter, and she will instinctually Tweet it without fact proving it first, and when the news turns out to be false, she ends up making a fool of herself as a result. I understand celebrities and famous people are allowed to state their opinion like everyone else is, but they are still able to get criticized for their opinion like how everyone else does. There are a lot of other celebrities and famous people who do the same thing that Tara Strong does on Twitter, and I don't follow them because of it too.

movies/tv Do you think they should make a reboot of "Snorks"?
AlicornSpell replied to AlicornSpell's topic in Media Discussion
Yeah, they definitely wouldn't have brought My Little Pony back if the series was nothing but those horrible cartoons that came before "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". The Snorks was nothing but a bad cartoon from the 1980s. So the Snorks most likely may never be brought back. -

Snorks was a cartoon that aired in the 1980s from 1984 to 1989. The cartoon was considered a ripoff of "Smurfs" by most people who watched it. But do you think if they did a reboot of it, they would be able to revamp it enough to the point that it doesn't feel like a Smurfs rip off? There was able to be a good My Little Pony cartoon (My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic), so it is possible that there could be a good Snorks cartoon. I didn't like the original Snorks cartoon, because it did feel like a ripoff of Smurfs.
