Everyone was really sad when we were told they had died in a big blizzard, but then their account was suddenly reactivated, Jeric determined a "new" account was them under another name, and merged the accounts. The new account (if it WAS the same person) hung around a few months, then said they were moving over to Twitter and stopped posting again.

I *had* been trying to keep the coffee and beer threads alive until that happened, but sorta gave up trying at that point.
