We live in such a highly consumerist world that most of us are compulsive buyers. I've had a few times this week where I wanted to buy some neat tech stuff but had to stop myself since I wanted to save my money for something else. I guess learning not to compulsively buy is a skill that takes patience to learn.

@Tacodidra I've made some really bad spending decisions in the past so for me, it's pretty darn important not to have the urge to do it!

I find it very true, mate! I guess it's one of those things that slowly affect generations more and more. For now, like you said, we just have to learn not to compulsively buy things just because we can. But for future generations, it might become even worse than an addiction.
But that shouldn't stop you from having fun with it once in a while!

I do get the urge to get some random stuff sometimes, so maybe I'd be in that group too if I had more money.
