    I know there's a lot of differences, but there are somesimilarities, so you can call it a semi-ripoff. Some similarities: Simba's and Kimba's names are extremely similar Both of their father's appear in the clouds Both Kimba and Simba have a female friend Both of them have a stampede scene Again, I'm not calling The Lion King a total rip off and it's actually one of my favourite Disney films, I also really enjoy Kimba!
