I found out that a bunch of people who I considered friends, have been talking about me behind my back for over a year now. It concerns me liking MLP and being Autistic. Why do I bother being nice to people, when they end up acting incredibly rude to me. I'm seriously not impressed

I agree with @shyabetes3939! Those people aren't worth it, real friends don't do something like that!

@shyabetes3939 @Tacodidra Good call. I distanced myself from them ages ago, as they do things which I have no interest in - getting drunk and throwing wild parties. But, they seriously weren't the people I thought they were.

you bother, because some people being jerks doesn't mean you have to be one too. even if it's rare, showing kindness can help you find your true friends among all the pretenders, if you stop, you lose that chance, and you let them decide who you are more than they should. so i say just ignore these kind of people and keep on being yourself
