  1. idk why my college and the bbc good food site always have to put everything in metric, meaning I have to convert it to get what t f it's talking about into UK Imperial

I thought UK uses hybrid system:huh:

@Vefka yeah, though some people use metric and imperial at different amounts (i only use centigrade and kilojeuls metric wise), and we're almost completely officially metric, but I'd learnt what things were in pounds, (fluid) ounces, pints, inches feet and yards, but cause all the weather was set up in celcius I knew that instead, same with kilojeuls (cause only learnt that cause school)

      it's simple, 14lbs in a stone, 8pt in a gallon, and 12" in a foot (with 3ft in a yard)
It's so much easier than metric

Is it really easier? :adorkable: To me, decimal units make a lot more sense than dividing by 12. Then again, I've always used metric.

I always use Google to convert the units, I've never really bothered to learn the non-metric ones (except for Fahrenheit, that's easy to remember for some reason).
